Shanna, I don’t have any pictures to shear ebut if I won this, (and I so want one) I would use it for answering the questions from the journaling jar. Then as I am ready to create layouts based on those questions I could just pull out the lournaling notes and be ready to scrap! Or how about these other ideas?
- Girls hair bows
- Jewelry box for one of my girls
- Keepsakes from Makenna’s ice skating journey
- My layout submission box
Is that enough? Do I win? Can’t wait to find out!

Hi!!!
so glad you are going for HOF–you’re stuff is so good!
My idea for the pail? I have a ton of little love notes my DH puts in the kids lunchboxes each day. They are sweet little things that need a special place! That’s what I’d do with it!!

Shanna…. I am not an organized person but I’m still trying to “get there”. With all the Christmas shopping & needing to return a few things, I am making one to hold all my receipts. The dividers will be the names of the different stores. I plan to use some of my favorite BG papers!

You know what I would do….
I would use it to keep track of things I am praying for and prayers that have been answered. I even know which papers I would use for it (basic grey Dawson and some other nice light blues..something about soft blue sky colors and creams reminds me of Heaven LOL!) Some blue blossoms and other soft accents (ribbons, lettering etc). I don’t have pictures except for the ones in my head
I just think it would be awesome to look back after a year and see what changes God (and myself
) has made in my life!
BTW…not surprised at all about seeing your stuff at CHA! You rock! And your pail is beautiful! How do you find time to scrap anything with all your DT and other projects going on???????

Hope it works. Anywho, your stuff is just flippin’ awesome! You inspire me!!!

Maybe you can ask your teammates to each do a page…sort of like a circle journal.
Maybe you could make another one that categorizes all the different dies and sets you have. you could punch out one of each and adhere it to the cards. Then organize them by categories with the tabbed cards. With all the dies you’ll have, I’m sure you’ll need some reminders!!
I think I would personally use it to organize the list of all those LOs I have been wanted to do. Then little by little I can take the photos for them and jot down the journaling and keep them in the box until I scrap them.
HOF too!!! You are a scrappin’ machine!! Go you!

Love the lunch pail idea…I’ve been thinking of getting one to document a journey that my family has recently undertaken…my father was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and I thought that I would make him something similar with pictures of family members, his caregivers, even his past so he can look through it each day…(according to health professionals, pictures will help him retain memories of his loved ones and “jumpstart” a memory for him)…his very own “Memory Box”…

I just know I will be seeing you in that issue — how could they turn your work down!!! Good luck!!!!!!! How was T&I? Did you make it through the movie without passing out from lust???

Love the lunch pail. I am in the process of making one as a baby gift. Using the divider cards for the months of the year, for the first year of life. Decorating it on the outside (I know baby is a boy!) and also “pre-scrapping” the divider cards inside, one for each month, with a blank month calendar on each one to write special events (i.e. first smile, first roll over etc.) on it and also to add pictures to each page when available. Then in between, mom can put pictures taken during that month and either keep in the pail….or have them handy when she is ready to begin scrapping her own album. I am wondering however, did you use modge podge or something of the sort to seal the outside of the pail???? Let me know as soon as possible as I need to get the gift ready! Thanks!!!!! Love yours!!!!

Just wanted to update…. As I stated in the entry log prior, I was in the process of making a lunch pail as a mini Baby’s First Year pail. I had questioned whether or not you had used Modge Podge or something to seal the paper to the tin. Well, I took the plunge last night and just went ahead and put modge podge on my tin…and it worked very nicely! I painted the tin completely first (a day earlier so the paint dried completely). Then I chose my paper I was going to use and I used the modge podge to adhere the paper to the tin…and then applied on top of paper as well. When the modge podge started to dry, I had several huge bubbles pop up which concerned me. (I’ve had that happen also when using on other projects…so I wasn’t totally freaking out!
By time I got up this morning, the paper had cured…and my tin looked beautiful!!!! Now, I just have to finish my index cards and embellish the outside and I’ll be finished! When complete, I will post pictures. I’m really hoping the mom to be will LOVE the gift; I know I would have when I had my 3 children so I hope she does!
