Whatcha Dern?
I know this is silly but this phrase just makes me laugh. Back before I started having children I used to work with a guy that was from Louisiana and he could never say “doing”… it was always “dern”. And it stuck. Now I can’t say it without giggling. It was funny to say it in Arizona cause no one talked like that there so they knew you were teasing or playing around. Here in the South? Not so much! HA HA HA! Now when I say it and giggle I’m the only one laughing. 
ANYHOO….. on to announcing the winner of my patterns contest. Every last creation was AMAZING and we had a HARD time choosing a winner so thanks to everyone who played!

So did ya get to play a little this weekend for World Card Making Day? We had a ton of fun over at CMK. I didn’t get anymore cards made but I did get a couple of layouts created. The first one is using this month’s CMK kit and the second one is the Monday Muse challenge for this week which was “Less is More”. 
Okay… that’s it for now. Gotta run!

You know, you have to try going to McDonalds and ordering a coke in a southern accent. I did it the other day just for fun. I figured they probably wouldn’t know if I was for real. But it was fun, and megan thought I was nuts.
