This weekend zoomed by entirely too quickly! My night out with the girls was great as always! Beth is always a great hostess……well…..everyone in our group is come to think of it. Bunch of Molly Home-Makin’-Over-Achievers!!! LOL That’s a compliment ladies.
Funny that there was ever a time in my life that I might have been upset if someone actually called me that. Times have surely changed! I made my yummy Snickerdoodles to take with me to Beth’s Friday night. As I was taking a picture of them I totally laughed out loud to myself thinking how ridiculous it was that I was photographing my tray of cookies. I wanted to share the recipe online with you guys so you KNOW you GOTTA have a picture too!!! LOL You will find that little treat below if you make it through this post. HA! Or you can cheat and skip on down. I will never know!
So Saturday was a good day. I got some errands run and slept in a little! My girlfriend Kayleen had been bugging me to bring my girls over to her house so they could play with her kiddos. Done deal. I met Shane for lunch which was nice. We will take “alone” time any way we can get it these days. Then I did a little shopping for Easter dresses. Hadn’t done that yet. That kind of stuff always sneaks up on me. I admire you people who have that kind of stuff done months in advance and ready to go. That’s not me. I got my nails done. My treat to myself for doing daycare.
And then Shane & I took the girls to see Meet the Robinson’s. That’s one for the DVD library for sure. Very cute!
Sunday was also a good day. Yummy roast lunch at Nana’s house and hanging out with the extended family to watch General Conference on TV. Then the icing on the cake was the Suns routing the Mavericks. Yes. Poor Mark Cuban and that somber look on his face. Very satisfying day indeed. Hope everyone had a great weekend! Here’s to yet another week!
