So how many others had their weekend consumed by High School Musical 2??? The girls did nothing last week but anticipate that World Premiere on Disney Friday night. It’s been watched many times since then too! Thank heavens for DVR right? I actually enjoyed it too. But then I have always been a big fan of musicals even as a child! My most favorite musical of all-time growing up was Oklahoma. (Lisa….will you still be my friend? Or at least admit that you know me?) Not even kidding. LOL Funny but true!
We didn’t do much other than that this weekend. Lame huh? Shane went fishing with his bro and I got a little scrapping done! Nothing exciting that’s for sure! Oh……hell did freeze over though! Shane actually watched Pride & Prejudice with me Sunday night! (it’s one of my faves!) I am still in shock. What a good man! LOL
Guess what! It’s almost time for CREATIVE ESCAPE again!!!!! HUGE Thanks to Janet for making sure I got to go this year! You’re the best! Check out this package I got in the mail last week! They are definitely getting us all psyched to go!!!! It’s the 2nd weekend in September! So grateful I get to go before moving to Mississippi! Trips like these will be much harder to come by after that! I had sooooooo much fun with Lisa last year that I am stoked to be going again! WOOT!!!
***Edited to add the project I got done this weekend! Just getting around to uploading it! I just did one of these for my girlfriend’s daughter a few weeks ago but it was waaaaaaaaaaay different! I love getting these wedding photos and invites in the mail so I can make a personal gift like this! This is my cute cousin Michelle who is getting hitched next weekend! They are doing this color scheme in their house…..it’s not the colors of their wedding. LOL Thanks for peeking! ~Shanna

Our house was completely consumed with HSM2 as well. Alli was more excited about it than her own birthday. I had so many things to do but, like you I watched the entire movie. It reminds me sooooo much of Grease. I quite enjoy Oklahoma myself. I think my favorites (yes, I have more than one) are Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and the original An Affair to Remember.

Well, I love the layout frame and I love that cute picture of Bailee. My girls were pretty excited about HSM2 also. I recorded it and had a neighborhood girls party on Saturday. I even printed invites from the website. It was fun and the girls were so good all week so they didn’t get grounded to their rooms during the party. Fun Stuff!
