Nothing much went on here this weekend. I pretty much cleaned and cooked all day Saturday. Shane’s brother’s family came over Saturday night and we barbequed. It was fun and low-key. Oh…and I did go get my rub-on applicators filled. My acryllic nails. LOL I don’t know how I would survive without them now. They are what I use to apply rub-on’s to my layouts and cards. Didn’t get much scrappin’ done at all until Sunday. Got my weight-loss card done and these two cards:
…………………………I did these cards for the 2nd week of the challenge/contest over at the Sketch This Cards Blog. Here is the sketch for this week. I was a little gun shy with it at first but once I started playing….I couldn’t stop. So I got two done! 
I love the idea of sketches for cards. I don’t use them a lot for my layouts but I have found that I go to them a lot for creating cards. So, not much went on this weekend. It was nice for once. I got a phone call early this morning from the girls. I chatted with each one of them and they each kept saying, “We get to come home the day after tomorrow!” I can’t even tell you how excited I am to have them home. I get to feel like a mom again!

I’m so excited for you to get your girls back!!! My Ashlie has been with her dad for 7 weeks out of the summer, I’ve had her for one..:( She comes back tomorrow, Yeah!!
Congrats on the DP…. that’s one I struggle with constantly……diet coke!!
