How was your Christmas? Was it Merry and bright and all that good stuff? Ours was wonderful! We were very blessed this year. The only thing that could have made it PERFECT was to have ALL our little ones with us at once. We aren’t complaining though. Shane gets to fly out to MS tomorrow to spend 9 days with his girls. He’s very excited and so are they. He’s also going to be looking for a house for us while he’s there. It’s finally that time. The move to Mississippi is right around the corner. We are shooting for the end of January. A few things have to happen for THAT to happen but at the very LATEST it will be the end of February. I try not to think about it too much. So much involved. LOL

So I gotta share this letter with you that Bailee left out for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. It really is the funniest and sweetest thing ever! Yes….she STILL believes in Him. Bless her heart. It’s got a front and a back to it…be sure and click on the images to enlarge it. Notice she makes a comment about our “store bought cookies”….ROFLMBO. I guess I have spoiled my kids with homemade Snickerdoodles every year to leave out for Santa. That didn’t happen this Christmas for all the reasons you could imagine. Anyway, Santa had fun filling out Bailee’s little questionaire for him. Made things a little interesting.
The girls had their 2nd Christmas last night when they arrived in Charlotte to visit their Dad for the last half of their winter break. I guess that’s the only perk of having divorced parents. I remember it too growing up. I miss them already and it’s only been a day! It doesn’t get any easier I swear! I don’t know what I will do with myself while Shane AND my girls are gone for a week! My friend Lisa is coming over all day on Saturday to scrap with me! YAY! I’m stoked!
I wish I had taken some good photos of all the activities we squeezed in before Christmas. We took the girls to see the ZOO LIGHTS at the Phoenix Zoo….that was fun AND cold! I’m such a desert rat. Anything below 68 degrees is freezing and requires hot chocolate. HA HA! Then last Friday night the girls and I got in the car and made a spontaneous trip out to visit my sister and her family in Las Cruces, NM. They recently moved there in October and I really wanted to visit them before we make the move to MS and it becomes a lot more difficult. It was a fun but short visit and the girls had a blast with their cousins. Thank goodness for travel DVD players….that’s all I gotta say.
Remember this little recipe book I was working on? Well, I finally managed to take a few photos of it so I could share with you. Hopefully when you click on the enlarged image you will be able to see the recipe clearly enough to read it. I meant to get it posted before Christmas but yah…didn’t happen. I also realized that this little book doesn’t have some of the rub-ons I added for extra details on the photos of the goodies. Oh well. Hope you enjoy. ![]()

Okay….I better get going. My brother and SIL are going to be here in a few. I am watching their kiddos tonight so they could do dinner and a movie in exchange for some computer work my bro is helping me with. My computer has been running REALLY slow lately and it’s driving me INSANE!!! I haven’t been playing around much on my favorite scrappy sites because of it. And we can’t have that! ANyway, I also have some projects to work on, dinner to cook, and Laundry to do so Shane has some clothes to pack for his trip. I will leave you with some pictures of some of the custom projects I did for orders before Christmas. I wish I would have gotten more photos but I was burning that midnight oil as usual! LOL Have a great night! ![]()

Wow, I just love all the names you’ve altered - they are gorgeous! And it sounds like you’ve had a wonderful holiday!
I totally feel the seperation though. My 2nd oldest daughter who is 14 spends Christmas with her dad in Texas… it stinks, but it’s one of the things we have to do for her.

The “multiple choice test” for Santa is absolutely precious!
I kept a handwritten Christmas wish list from my nephew when he was 6. His parents aren’t into keeping things like that, but someday I know he will enjoy seeing what he wrote. It just tickles me to pieces to read it. I’m thinking I need to make a transparency of it and use it on a page. The idea is there, but I’m still in create mode on how I want to assemble the layout.
Glad you had a fab Christmas!
