First off…..I have to say a HUGE thank you for all your sweet comments on my “sad” post about the MM IDOL contest. Ya’ll really know how to make a girl feel good. You took the sting away from not making the cuts. I truly appreciate it! 
Next…. I wanted to share this layout I did of Cassidy yesterday. I haven’t done a “highly embellished” page like this in a long time! I have recently been keeping things fairly clean on my layouts. Well these papers that came in my Monthly Kit from My Scrapbook Nook just screamed shabby!! It was fun to pull out the old Jumbo Java ink pad again and go for it! I love the Basic Grey Blush line!!! It’s SCRUMMY!!! (I learned that word from one of my Aussie online friends—It’s Scrumptious & Yummy combined! Love it!)
Okay…..On a serious note. I haven’t talked much about this cause Shane is kind of a personal guy….unlike me who plasters my junk all over the internet! (Put your junk in that box! Sorry….couldn’t resist. Does anyone know this joke?) Sorry…LOL back to serious. I will keep this short. We need your prayers! Shane hurt his back really bad back in December when we moved him out here. It’s been killing him since. Pain meds get him through but quality of life is seriously suffering right now. He goes in for an MRI tomorrow morning and hopefully the Doctors can figure out what’s really going on. They think it’s a slipped disc but they are 100% sure. Please pray for Shane that he can get through this mess and feel good again. I hate seeing him suffer! Thanks so much!!!
***One more thing! Who’s keeping up on American Idol???? I think the ladies are killin’ the guys this year! I want our local girl Jordin Sparks to win it but there are several chicks who can seriously blow!

First of all, rockin’ layout! Holy cow how did you not win that competition!? 2nd, that totally sucks for Shane and my thoughts will be with you guys. My brother experiences something similar and I know that it’s a constant struggle. 3rd, I’m a total American Idol junkie! I taped it last night and just watched the girls sing. Holy cow, this will definitely be a competition! Although I have a couple of favorites on the guys side. The beat boxin’ dude is AWESOME!

I made some cards with this blush line and I totally love it. I love this LO. So Beautiful! My take on American Idol… I really liked Rudy, I was sad to see him go. The girls are waaaaaay better than the dudes. There are a ton of girls that are good this year. I hope that Shane’s back feels better soo know what he is going through! I have had to be on some meds for along time now. It is a bit depressing but you just take it one day at a time! Swimming is something that really helps me a ton. I bet you that things will get better though.
Keep us updated! Do you watch Grey’s Anatomy? That is the show I am totally addicted to and have to watch every wek.

Shanna, this is an incredible layout. Cassie is gorgeous. I love the way you do shabby. Poor Shane, I too feel his pain. Sleeping sitting up for months now is not the best way to sleep but whatever gets me through the night. I hope his MRI turns out well. I will keep him in my prayers.
AI started out seriously doubtful that it would be good this year. But after seeing the girls, yeah it is going to be a tough race between a few of them. I like the Beat Boxer too!
Have you ever watched Nashville Star? Waaaaay better than AI. The talent they find for that is amazing and they are already mostly accomplished musicians for the most part. So watching them is a little more enjoyable. Check it out Thursday nights I think on TNT.

I truly hope your husband feels better. Back pain can completely mess your day/life up. It’s all you think about….is how to have your back stop hurting and what life was like before it hurt. I hope it heals quickly. So sorry to hear about this.

As for Shane — I feel your pain! I remember going through this with Dustin. AT least he is smart enough to go in for an MRI instead of doing nothing and ending up in the hospital. MEN! Hopefully with some shots and physical therapy, he’ll be good to go again! There are some things Dustin can’t do and eventually he’ll have to have surgery but on a day to day basis, he’s usually OK! Just wanted to let you that there is hope
