First I have to post this sweet photo of Karlie and Shane after her Baptism Saturday night. It was a super special day for Karlie because she turned 8, had a basketball birthday party, AND got to be baptized all on the same day! Shane was a proud papa. We are all proud of Karlie and excited for her! She looked like a princess in her pretty dress and was super beautiful. This was one of many fun and special things that went on this weekend. I wish I had some photos of Karlie’s party to share but I wasn’t there. So Sorry!
Cassidy’s Hannah Montana Rock Star party was super fun! She had all but 2 of the friends she invited show up so she was happy! We had cupcakes and ice cream and painted & decorated some Stars for the girls to take home and hang in their rooms. They all were little artists and really enjoyed getting messy! ![]()

Cassidy’s baptism went perfect except for one minor detail…. the font water was cold! HA HA HA! poor kid! I hope she doesn’t look back on her special day and remember that the most! LOL!!! I did tell her that some people get baptized in cold lakes, rivers, and even swimming pools. Jesus was baptized in a river. So there you go.
Shane had an awesome weekend getting to baptize two of his children! Cass looked beautiful as well in her pretty dress and she was a happy little girl but we certainly felt the pain of not having all our family there with us! Missed everyone! Here’s some photos of Cassidy and her parents. Thanks Renee for getting a few for me! You’re AWESOME!!! ♥

Since we had Cassidy’s baptism right after church at 1:30pm and everyone had already been through a 3 hour block of meetings, plus it was playoff football Sunday (ha ha!) I decided to bake some special baptism cookies to let Cassidy hand out to everyone. Instead of hanging out even longer after the baptism for refreshments. She was sooooo happy to be able to hand these out to everyone and thank them for sharing her special day!

Such a special weekend for the girls!
You tell your little one that I too was baptised in ice cold water. Someone had jammed the hot water pipes with beer bottles & we couldn’t get anything remotely warm.
To make matters worse, my feet kept coming up. Finally, my uncle, stood on my feet. Shh! Don’t tell. LOL
