It’s finally Friday! YAY!!! It’s been a long week. Sometimes they zoom by and other times it feels like they drag! Such is life! I have approx. 6 more weeks left until sweet baby Chloe makes her grand appearance! Now THAT will be here in no time cause I just don’t feel ready for another newborn. I am SUPER excited but nervous as well. I hope little Brody does okay having a baby sister. Should be interesting. I don’t know if I mentioned this before or not but I am also excited to be getting my tubes tied RIGHT AFTER giving birth!!! IT’S TIME. I personally have 5 children and 7 in our family….. Done is Done is DONE!!!!!! LOL I’m excited to feel good again, to get healthy enough to keep up with all these kids! Not that I HAVE health problems but I am soooo out of shape. Babies have taken their toll and we won’t even talk about my eating habits over the last 3 years! YUCK! But I guarantee you by the time I hit the big 40…. I will feel & look 21 again!!!! Woot!
Okay…. here’s today’s sketch from CAARDVARKS. I used Bo Bunny’s Calypso papers on this and one of the “Luv U Sis” stickers I designed. I think they will be doing a couple more days of sketches over the weekend but this will be my last day this week to play along. I have some custom scrapping orders I need to wrap up this weekend so I can get on to the fun CARD CLUB stuff I have planned for next week! (see previous post)
Shane is flying to Virginia in Greg’s plane with him early tomorrow morning so they can go watch Brett’s college football game Saturday night and then fly back Sunday afternoon. One of the perks of being a pilot and owning your own plane I guess. HA!!! So it will be Brody and Mama most of the weekend! I hope to get a lot done but we shall see! I hope the rain stops long enough to dry things out so my boy can play outside. Rain, Rain go away!
I took these fun pics this morning before loading the kiddos up to go to school! Bailee has been “running” for “Homeroom Class President” as a Student Council Rep at school. The big voting day is today and their teacher told them they could “persuade” their classmates anyway they wanted as long as they weren’t being “bought”. LOL Well….. I can make some mean cupcakes and hope these do the job for Bailee!!! I am dying to find out if she won or not but we already had that “it’s okay if you don’t win” talk because I hate to see my kids disappointed. Her school colors are Blue and Orange… not obvious right? and Friday’s are Spirit days just like back in the day!!!
There is a HUGE High School football game going on tonight between Madison Central (where our kids will go) and Clinton High School. They are BIG rivals and neither team has lost a game so far this season. Should be exciting! I’ve seen some crazy things already today around town because of it. People here treat football like it’s their religion! LOL We laughed at a chopped truck full of teenage boys in Blue and orange ties with their hair sprayed the same. The truck was also spray painted blue and Orange. Businesses around here have flags and banners outside their stores saying “GO JAGUARS!!!” GOOD TIMES!!!

On a personal note (as personal as a blog is lol), having your tubes done will be one less worry for you. Believe me, I understand. =) Unfortunately for me, I don’t think there’s enough surgery to have my body look like it did when I was 21 LMBO!

IMHO, If I could go back and change having my tubes tied, I WOULD. My husband tells me every month that he should have had the procedure done on him. EVERYTHING is worse for me. My periods, pms, my face breaks out like a teenager, mood swings, cramping… the works. I hope that you don’t have these problems.
On a side note. I was scheduled to have my tubes tied right after having my last baby… didn’t happen. An emergency cesarian came in and took precedence over the room that they would have taken me to. I had to wait 3 months. Thank the Lord I didn’t end up with a baby boy # 7. PHEW!

WOW - can’t believe you only have 6 wks left…seems like I just found out you were preggers! (OF COURSE, that’s not how YOU feel, I’m sure! LOL!! ;o)). Chloe is such a sweet name and she will be most blessed to join your wonderful family! It’ll be a time of adjustment for Mr. Brody but I’m sure he’ll do fine! Trying to patiently await your exciting card kits and start sending in my $$$$!!!

yes!!! Babies take their toll on your body!! I have 3 and I don’t recognize myself and it’s not even that I’m over weight (I have about 8 pounds to get back to my original weight) but everything shifted to other places……..I’m convinced that my head got bigger!!!!!!!LOL!!

Oh my Shanna, Those cupcakes look awesome. I could probably eat them all myself. Those would hav swayed me for sure. I am so proud of Bailee for trying. Amy just ran for Historian for the whole school. She didn’t make it either but I was glad she tried. Tell Bailee good job!
