Signs of the Season

I haven’t been on the computer much at all the last several days. Here is a peek at what me and my little Christmas elves have been up to! The girls and I have had soooooooo much fun turning our home into a small winter wonderland! It smells like Christmas, it looks like Christmas and YES….it’s even starting to FEEL like Christmas as our temperatures have finally started to drop! We all had to wear coats to church this morning…a first since last year! YAY!!!!! I LOVE IT!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful time with family and friends over the Thanksgiving holiday! Don’t get so busy this Christmas season that you forget to take time to reflect on what it’s all about!!!! My mom gave me this statue over 11 years ago (pictured here) she painted of Santa bending down to worship the baby Jesus. It is very special to me because it pretty much sums up what this Holiday season is all about!!!! Look at the expression of love, respect, and gratitude in Santa’s face. It’s very humbling! And of course it’s special because it came from my mother! :) Thanks again Mom! And Merry Christmas everyone!!! (Click on the photos to view them larger and clearer!)
