It’s been a rough week…..what can I say? I did manage to get some things accomplished but not without struggle. I still get sick. It’s not supposed to be like this. With ALL my girls it was smooth sailing after the first trimester passed. Not this time. This is exactly why I had suspected a little boy all along. But I am NOT complaining! I am still excited as ever and that’s why I decided to do a layout about it using the photo of me in pink! LOL Notice I offset that with nothing but BLUE!!! HA HA HA!
Here’s the journaling which is hard to read in the photo:
Okay…the truth is…Nothing about being pregnant this time around is a JOY at all! It’s been hard emotionally, physically, and mentally. I am about 20 weeks along in this photo and I shouldn’t be getting sick still everyday. But this time is sooooo much different than when I was prego with the girls. For good reason. There’s a little man growing in my tummy. I can’t even explain the JOY in that!
All the blue papers and rub-ons in this layout are from BoBunny and the glittery chipboard is Making Memories. Fun stuff!!! I was going to make this layout a 6×6 size to go in my JOY JOURNAL but couldn’t make it work how I wanted. I decided to just go get it color-copied/reduced to fit in that album……DUH!!! So there…..a Bo Bunny design team assignment done and an entry in my JOY JOURNAL! Woot! Woot! The heart pictured here to the left is the one I drew and hand-cut to use in my layout. Ya’ll know what a heart freak I am!!! I thought I would share the pattern with ya in case you’d like one!

Soooooo. I did manage to get the Christmas decorations and the tree up this week. That was a chore but always worth it! I snapped a few photos of some of the decorations. I posted most of these last year but they still make me smile. I didn’t get out ALL of the Christmas stuff because I just didn’t feel like it……and this year…..less is SO MUCH MORE! LOL My most favorite part of Christmas is this statue of Santa and the Christ child. My MOM painted this when I was very young and she gave it to me when I left home. It just says it all for me about the meaning of Christmas!
What else happened this week? Oh. Right. How can I forget?
A note home from the Pricipal’s office.
First
One
Ever.
Needless to say…I’m not very happy about it. Apparently Cassidy (my 5yr old girl……NOT an 8yr old boy) decided it would be fun to climb under each one of the bathroom stalls at school and lock every single door so no one could get in. I have to admit……It was EXTREMELY difficult to discipline her for this (without busting out laughing) since this is something I would have done as a kid too. She IS HER MOTHER’S CHILD. Heaven help me. My parenting skills have been tested to the hilt this week. I won’t even get into the other stuff.
Alrighty then……I gotta get off this computer! I need to finish up a few things so we can go out tonight! Shane is leaving for Mississippi in the morning so we are going to dinner as a family tonight then taking the girls bowling for the first time ever! They are excited. SO am I. I just hope I don’t kill myself or anyone around me. HA HA HA!
I will leave you with a card I got done this week using all Bo BUnny goodies. The design is based on this week’s sketch over at SketchThis: Cards
Oh No! ROFLMBO!!!
One more thing I HAVE to share with you! Lisa sent me an E-CARD this week that had me seriously rolling!!!
Is this any of you during the holidays??? Not me yet…..but just may be in another few weeks! HA HA HA!!! Make sure your volume is turned up!!!
Have a great weekend everyone!!! ![]()

Love your first ‘boy’ LO. Love the heart too…need to save it for later usage. =)
I think my family is doing our Christmas tree tonight…while I’m stuck doing stinky homework LOL. Oh well the tree isn’t my favorite thing anyway.
Oh the bathroom stall story is hilarious! My oldest daughter once told her kindergarten teacher to take a hike and go jump in a lake after her father & I taught her these crazy sayings. Oh was that fun explaining to the teacher that she didn’t mean it. LOL
Wow, did your mom really paint that? That’s awesome!! That must be where you get your talent!

Love the l.o. My son’s birthday is just after Thanksgiving so we put the tree up before his birthday party. I too was sick with him up until my last month. I was sick once with my daughter, it really freaked her out to see me get sick while I was pregnant with her brother. I hope it gets better ;-). Where do you plan on living in MS?

Your layout is pefect as usual. I love your decorations. You are going through what I am with my 12 year old daughter, acting like her mom way too much. Some things that she does reminds me that my mom wished a child on me just like me. Gotta love them and makes me respect and love my mom a whole lot more. Hope your are feeling better soon.

Lisa is such a WHORE She sent me the same card. And I think she got the idea from Kerry because Kerry sent me the card a month ago or so. Is this an appropriate comment for a public blog? Will they get that I’m joking or will people really thing I’m calling Lisa a whore?
Anywhooooo — love the LO and I love the Christmas decorations. Love me some Christmas! And tht story about Cassidy is HEeeeeelarious. Just like her momma!
