So I didn’t post a weekend update….that’s kinda what this is going to be! I have some random stuff I need to post. Some Hilarious, some cute, some fun, some Boring…..that’s what happens here. For posterity’s sake and this being my online journal…..some things just can’t be overlooked! But I do have a special treat at the end of this post for anyone who makes it there. Hee hee!!!

We made it out to the desert this weekend and did a little 4 wheelin’….TONS O’ FUN! I was happy to see how well Shane’s back held up. Those steroid shots seemed to help! (we are still waitin on the MRI results btw….for those who have asked) The girls were in heaven. As much dirt as they could ever dig in! They loved riding too. Can’t wait to get a smaller quad for them! It was good to get some family time in! Here are a few pics….yes….I even forced myself to snap one of me! For posterity’s sake of course. —–I got a phone call from my sweet Grandma. I love that woman. I don’t know what I will do when her time here on earth is done. I will die. Seriously. But she’s not a sit in the rocking chair kind of Grandma so I expect her to live at least another 40yrs. I can live with that. Anyway…..the phone call. She called because she was excited to brag that she finally got a lesson on navigating her way around the internet. This is the cutest 73yr old woman on the planet I tell you. She was soooooo excited to tell me she can finally read my blog on a regular basis! (Okay…..now I really have to stop cursing) She spent a good hour reading thru all her grandkids blogs. How FREAKIN’ cute is that???
—–HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY NADINE DEAR!!!! She’s my cousin! She’s da bomb diggity! I love her! Enjoy your day girl!
—–DO NOT rent the movie Flicka. Unless you enjoy throwing money down the drain. I guess my girls liked it okay. That’s who we rented it for. Shane and I were sorely disappointed though. I was actually looking forward to seeing that movie. The acting and the story was just bad. That’s of course….my humble opinion.
—–DO GO SEE The Work and the Glory III That movie rocked. I was in tears in the movie theatre. I watched the first two on DVD earlier in the week because Shane was really wanting to see #3 before it went off the big screen. You will not be disappointed.
—–Between all the stuff we did over the weekend….the girls’ managed to get 102 temp and some pink eye. That was Macey and Cassidy. Thank goodness I had some eyedrops from Bailee’s last pink eye episode. They are good now!
Bailee is seriously the cutest when it comes to writing me notes. GOOD OR BAD. 
Trust me…..if you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time you know there has been some notes left for me that weren’t so sweet. LOL But that’s okay. Remember it’s all about the lines of communication with our kids right? Well, I made a big breakfast Sunday morning. My girls love Sundays for this reason….it means pancakes, eggs, bacon, biscuits and all kinds of juice! Bailee just thought she would tell me thanks. Isn’t that all we want as moms? To know our families are grateful for us and all we do for them? I swear that notes like these make all the little sacrifices worth it. Funny thing is……this same child is grounded to her room right now for some REALLY negative behavior. We take the good with the bad don’t we? Oh……FYI….I just noticed my fingernails when I clicked on that photo. LOL That is INK people…..not dirt. Oooooh….it does look gross though either way.
—–My name got drawn at Keepsake Trends on Saturday night to attend a crop with Becky Higgins on March 9th. I am stoked about that! I think they raised about $1,200 for Makenzie with that Benefit crop. That’s really cool!
—–I got this little LDS Gem in my inbox today from President Hinckley…..Loved it. It reads, “Somehow forgiveness, with love and tolerance, accomplishes miracles that can happen in no other way.” This is a great one. I needed this.
—–I got the Hilton in Mesa confirmed for the Two Peas crop during CK Convention weekend. It will be Saturday, April 21st from 6pm-Midnight. I am stoked! I will post more details soon. If you are local or you will be in town for the convention and you want to come then ya better email me quick to sign up! Space will go fast cause this is going to be the BEST crop EVER!!!!
—–Hillary and I are going to the Christina Aguilera concert tonight out at the Glendale arena! That’s gonna be good times. Hillary and I haven’t hung out much since I tied the knot with Shane so he was nice enough to watch the girls so we can go. You KNOW there will be more on that too! LOL ****EDITED TO ADD….yah…we are freaking NERDS! Got all the way out to the arena and wondered why it was a flippin ghost town! Pulled out the tickets our Aunt gave us to the suite and it said “Wednesday February 28th” on them. When my Aunt called this morning to ask if I wanted them she said “tonight”. Took her word for it. So…..Hillary might be going with a friend. Depends on how I feel. We ended up just going to eat and heading home. Good times still. Hillary and I can have fun in a mall just people watching.

Hi Shanna, I wish I could see Christina in concert! A guy in our ward went on a misson to her home town and actually was friends with her family. Christina was 10 at the time and the guy in our ward remembers Christina singing at the house for him when he would go to visit them! Christina was never babtized Morman, but her Mother and Grandmother are both babtized. Christina’s Grandmother is still active but her Mother is not. Wouldn’t it be cool to be their visiting teacher! I thought that was a funny little tid bit that you would want to know. By the way, I got your e-mail, Thank you! Every word I said was true! Have a great night!
