Quite an update….grab a diet coke or whatever your liquid treat.

Where do I start really? Last week was a blurr. I think I was pushing myself a little too hard and my body finally gave out on me. Hasn’t been a fun last few days. I started feeling raunchy (that word makes me giggle) on Friday afternoon. I started getting chills and a fever. I was able to somewhat control the fever with Tylenol throughout the weekend but still felt horrible because of the chills and achiness…..it was as if my body was certainly fighting something off. I was getting really bad headaches too that were causing nausea and vomiting. Too much info I know. Sorry. Anyway….it seemed come Sunday morning that my 102 temp had finally broke for good so I went to just sacrament meeting at church. Had no idea that according to Shane I had agreed for us to give the prayers. I can’t even recall that conversation. Surprise. LOL Anyway, I couldn’t make it thru church and started feeling bad again. We went home and I spent the rest of the day on the couch AGAIN. Monday morning when I woke up I seemed to feel a little better but had the weirdest arthitic feeling pains in all….and I mean ALL my joints. Talk about feeling 75 when you wake up on your 34th birthday. I figured I was just sore and achey because I had done nothing but lay around all weekend but I was determined to not let the day slip by just laying in bed yet again. Not sure if I mentioned this before or not but Shane made me take the day off since he didn’t have to work either. My girlfriend Kaylene took Cassidy all day (Thanks again girl!) And of course the other two were in school so Shane and I got a “play day”. We went and saw FRACTURE with Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling. HOLY FREAKING COW! GO SEE THAT MOVIE!!! It was incredible. It was rated R for the language which was disappointing because other than that it was AN AWESOME movie! Best I have seen in a LONG time! Rent it at Clean Flicks when it comes out if you don’t watch Rated R movies! We went to lunch at Chipotle’s ….YUM! One of my most favorite places to eat! Then went to Walmart to get a pregnancy test. LOL Yes…..a prego test! After my weird sicknesses going on for the last few days it made me too curious. NEGATIVE! Sorry….no exciting news there. Anyway, we went home and Shane took the older two girls to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and I ran over to Scrapbook’s Etc to use my Birthday coupon and money I got from my Daddy. Keep in mind that I am still feeling like crap and my joint pain seems to be getting worse but the best is yet to come. I was looking around in the scrap store and my joint pain started to get excruciating. I knew it was time to go to the doctor when I needed help off the floor… while bent down to look at something….I couldn’t get back up. My knees and everything hurt THAT BAD! It was embarassing really. Anyway…I drove myself to the Doctor about 4pm on Monday and was in tears thinking I had menengitis or something. I didn’t want to end up in the hospital. They got me in about 515pm and the Doctor determined I have an upper respiratory and sinus infection that settled in my joints. I KNOW. WEIRD. Never heard of that happening. Anyway…he gave me a steroids shot there at the office, a prescription for Augmentin and some cough syrup with Codeine in it. That is some heavenly stuff. I slept like a baby last night and have felt A LOT better today! Thanks to modern medicine!

There’s still more……the drama is over but there is more. Go get a refill.

So I wish I could have gotten a photo of Shane and I this weekend together. But this one we had taken at the Diamondbacks game last week will have to do. I looked like sheer death all weekend so no pretty photos were remotely possible. Anyway, I have to tell you what I gem of a man my dear hubby is. He had a three day weekend off from work. First one in a long time where he was here and not in Mississippi. We had plans to go to the AVP tourney that was in town. So stinkin bummed we missed that. I have NEVER missed one here in AZ…EVER. But Shane was a pure stud this weekend. Under normal circumstances I would have had three days of damage control to recover from while sick in bed. But he took care of the kids and the house and food and EVERYTHING! He took care of me. I am very blessed to have him. Love you babe! It was a sucky weekend but I got to see a side of you I didn’t know existed. You’re the BEST! THANKS! Mwah!

I didn’t get any good pics of my girls on Mother’s Day but I took these last week that I think are hilarious. They are showing off their playful side. Especially Cassie. She loves to make her sisters laugh. Goofy kids. What is it about Mother’s Day that makes kids turn into little monsters? Shane had a “special” little talk with them in the morning about what day it was and to try and be sweet to each other all day. No tattling and picking on each other. No drama. A “good” day for Mom. Yeah right. I think we would have been better off not saying a word. I swear they were little hellians just to spite us. Does anyone else’s kids do this??? Oh well. It was still a good day.

I got some extra special lovin’ on my birthday. I got “hearted” by my friends. I should NEVER have said I didn’t care for hearts anymore after that big Mother’s Day project. Look what they did. Flippin’ copy-cats. Hee hee…..creative souls that they are. Every heart has a special message on it. It was fun reading thru them all. CLICK HERE if you want to see what they did to my yard last year. LOL It’s become a fun tradition amongst us. Michelle’s birthday is today. Watch out girl! \':)\' Hope it’s Happy! I will leave a few more photos to share of the hearts. These chicks rock my world. LOL Thanks again my MAS Friends.

This is Macey with her 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Sloan. Last Friday Morning I got to go to Macey’s class for a little bit. They put together a “Mother’s Day” program for us and Macey was sooooooo excited that I could be there for once! They did the cutest little song about Moms while their teacher played the piano. It was sooooo stinkin’ cute and of course I was a big boob and fought the tears all the way through it. Those proud little moments as a Mom that make your heart beat right out of your chest. Macey is going to be 8yrs old on the 28th of this month! I can’t believe it! She picked out her special baptism dress online last night. Here is what she picked. I can’t wait to see it on her! I need to get some invites out very soon! I think I will be just emailing them this time since it’s mostly just family. Macey is excited that Shane will get to baptize her since her Dad can’t. It’s going to be a really special day!

So Sorry I missed the In[s]piration Friday post last week. It’s been crazy here! I still have to get Sharing time done for Primary this week. It’s my class’s turn for it on Sunday. I hope to get some scrappy time in the next few days. I am totally going through withdrawals. It’s been too long and I have some fun new goodies to play with I got for my birthday! YAY!

Thanks for all your sweet comments on my last post and being worried about me! Ya’ll are very sweet! I am feeling so much better today thank goodness! It’s good to be ALIVE! :)

OH!!! ONE MORE THING!!!!!
