Can you believe this is my 5th month already???
I started this little card club in October!!! 5 months later I am still going strong and loving every bit of the creative process! I love putting the kits together! I especially love the fun emails I get from those of you playing along every month saying how much you are enjoying it!!! THAT makes me happy because that means I get to keep doing this! Wahooooooo! ♥
< ——————– For those tuning in for the first time you can click on the “My Monthly CrAzY for Cards Kit Club” link on the left side of my blog for all the fun details!
****EDITED TO ADD— The extra kits I made for this month are sold out already in record time! The only way to GUARANTEE you will get a kit every month is to email me at shannavineyard@comcast.net and ask to be added to the monthly commitment list! THANKS!!! ♥
ONE MORE THING!!! I have ONE January kit left that I haven’t been able to collect payment on if someone wants it! It’s yours!
Okay….. Who’s ready for the February Card Peeks? I am soooooo excited about this month’s cards! Can you feel the love? ♥♥♥

Yes! This kid CRACKS me up. I think this is her 2 or 3 year old crack but can’t tell from this angle. HA HA HA! Okay…. crude humor today. Sorry. It’s her 8th Birthday! I’m getting ready to head over to her school in a few and have lunch with her. I’m also taking with me her favorite candy bar…. A TWIX. This has turned into somewhat of a birthday tradition. They just know Mom’s coming to eat with them and bring them chocolate! I can’t be a mean Mom ALL the time right?
Anyhoo… making her favorite meal for dinner tonight and then she gets to open a few gifts. A Hannah Montana party (of course!) on Saturday Morning and then she will be baptized after church on Sunday. Lots of fun things for this kiddo over the next few days! But that’s what birthdays are for! (at least until you cross over into the 35 and older range! HA!) I will take a good photo of Cass in her pretty baptism dress and share it soon. Until then…. here’s a couple more cute pics of my girl! Happy Birthday sweetie!
I L♥ve you!
Mom

I FINALLY got all the kits mailed out! Sorry again ladies that I was so far behind this month! I don’t forsee that happening again… but like I said before…. life happens right? Now it’s time to start working on February’s already so I can get back on track! So I should have some peeks of those ready by the end of next week. As for the January kits….. I ONLY HAVE 3 LEFT. Shoot me an email at shannavineyard@comcast.net if you’d like one. Here’s a full-on photo of one of the cards for this month that I normally don’t share unless you buy a kit. I love these October Afternoon papers! The yellow polka paper is sooooo cute!
Our family has some crazy good stuff coming up this week and weekend! Cassidy and Karlie are BOTH turning 8yrs old and BOTH are having birthday parties and BOTH are getting baptized! How fun is that for them and our family this week? I will post more on those fun events as they happen… or maybe one big long post next week. LOL Depending on how things go!
This is my card for the latest sketch at 2 Sketches 4 You. So many fun goodies and cards going on over there! Check it out!
Have a great week! ♥

……..I took these sweet pics of my happy girl this morning. Our little Chloe loves to smile. She loves being talked to and is even starting to talk back to us too! ♥ She’s growing too fast. It’s time to retire the bassinett (I mean give it away since I will NEVER need it again! LOL!) and put up the crib this weekend. *sigh*
I can’t believe I totally spaced posting my card for this week’s sketch over at 2 Sketches 4 You!!!! I’ve been so busy trying to get these cards kitted up and in the mail that the days just whizzed by! This is another card using a digital image that I printed and water-colored. Some of the girls use photoshop but I’m not very good at it yet. Plus I just LOVVVE using my watercolor pencils! The sponsor this week is The Cutting Cafe and they have some super cute digital stamps if ya wanna check ‘em out! Love the sketch as always! And happy I finally used this funky blue polka-dot ribbon I’ve been hoarding forever! LOL!!!

These are for you NANA!!! ♥♥♥
I had to get a couple pictures of Brody wearing this shirt that Nana sent him for Christmas! LOL! This kid CRACKS me up! he’s so stinkin’ handsome too! Just like his Daddy! ♥ I’m not biased! Wink! But this shirt makes me laugh cause EVERYTHING within an arm’s reach of this kid needs locked up!!!! He’s a little tornado! Pray for me! HA HA HA!!!
♥ TOODLES! ♥

I’ve been busy working on my card kits today (look for peeks this weekend!) and had to take a break to scrap this for my sister Hillary! She’s been super stressed about not being able to find work after recently relocating to the Denver area to live with her new hubby Spencer. When I ran across these photos I had printed of them and saw this week’s challenge on Janna Wilson’s blog I went straight to it! Got this done in like 30 mins!!!! Love the quickies! Woot! ♥ Hope it makes you smile sista!!!
The challenge on Janna’s Blog was to use a big circle somewhere on the layout. I changed it up a bit and used a heart instead! I created a pattern for it to share with you. I also used several Hero Arts stamps on this so I could submit it for this month’s contest/challenge on their blog too! A TWO for ONE project! YAY! AND a smile for my sis! ♥
Okay! Back to work for me! Hope ya’ll have a great weekend!

……..and another fun sketch from Kazan over at 2S4Y. The sponsor this week is InStyle Stamps who provided us with the fun digital images to use on our cards! I couldn’t resist this cute little house and using the Cupid Collection from Pink Paislee to go with it. There is lots of inspiration over there this week… AS ALWAYS… so head on over and play along!
I’m almost done with my last set of stickers for the next Bo Bunny release. Off to UPS later this afternoon then I can focus on the cards for January and some other scrappy-creative things that have had to wait.
Before I go…. I thought I would share Cassidy’s baptism dress we ordered this week. She picked it out and is totally excited about it. Her and Karlie both turn 8yrs old later this month so Shane will be baptizing them. We are excited! It’s a BIG birthday!!! More to come on that!
The girls went back to school today after their two week Holiday break so back to just me and the little ones during the day. I have really mixed feelings about it cause I love having the girls here with me and they keep Brody super busy! okay…..
Happy Tuesday to you! ♥

How is everyone? It’s been super crazy busy here… no time for bloggin’. Gotta make this a quick post. If possible. LOL We have all our kiddos with us this week. All 7 of them. School is out still until Monday so we’ve been enjoying the time with them. Shane has had this week off from work too so it’s been nice. Christmas was good! We were blessed yet again and are feeling especially grateful for family and friends and missing those we can’t see during the holidays. We love ya!

Here are a few of my favorite photos from last week including my fave of Brody on Christmas day. I was lame and didn’t pull the camera out as much as I should have. But I am hoping the weather cooperates this week so I can get a good photo of all our children… even the newest blessing!
WINNER! WINNER! CHICKEN DINNER!!!
Cheryl is the winner from the “Tis the Season” drawing I SHOULD HAVE announced on Christmas Day but totally forgot! Where is my mind these days!?!?!?!?! Cheryl…. send me your address and I will get your fun goodies out to you!
Here it is Thursday already and I haven’t posted this week’s card for 2 Sketches 4 You! Fabulous stuff going on over there as always! Love the sketch! Check it out and play along! Laura wanted us to create using black, red, and silver and also a New Year’s Theme. So this is what I came up with. New Year’s Day tomorrow! Crazy!
*UPDATE ON CARD KITS FOR JANUARY*
Just want to let you know I am still working on January’s cards! The Peeks will go up early next week as well as the auto-PayPal requests being sent. Sorry for the delay this month. With the holidays and the stickers I’ve been working on for Bo Bunny…. the cards had to take a back seat temporarily!

……….I thought I was done creating anything for the Holidays but a few days before Christmas I got a greeting card from my Mom that she had purchased from the store. (Gasp! The Horror! HA HA! Kidding Mom!) It had a reindeer on the front with this same sentiment I created on this card! I thought it was so clever and cute!!! I had these Hero Arts stamps so I could easily re-create a similar card! FUN!!!
Okay…. before I get going I gotta share this recipe I finally got my hands on! Have you ever had “ROLO COOKIES”??? These chocolate cookies have a chocolate with caramel rolo candy rolled into them so when you bite into the already yummy soft cookie you get a chewy chocolatey surprise!!!!! They are my new favorite!!! Here’s the Recipe!
CHOCOLATE ROLO COOKIES
1 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar (save until end)
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp soda
1 large bag of Rolo’s
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingrediaents first, then add. Take 1 tbsp dough and roll around 1 Rolo, dip top half in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 mins on a greased cookie sheet.
Have a safe, fun, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
