So I didn’t make the cuts for the Making Memories Idol Contest. CLICK HERE to see the list of 50 names and their layouts. I noticed that all the layouts have sort of the same feel and style to them that isn’t really me so I am not surprised I didn’t get chosen. But that’s okay! At least I got that project done I have been wanting to do! So it was worth trying! Thanks for all your support and sweet comments though! You guys made my week! Now off to scrap and try and get some work done! Hope everyone’s week is going well!

I’m actually surprised at how similar some of them look, almost like they were all lifted from the same layout. I’d say a good 20 of them pretty much look the same. =( I’m sour-grapin’ for ya!

I have been one of your lurkers for a long time now, o.k. that sounded a bit freakish!! Anyway, I thought for sure you would have been in the top 50! In fact, I am sure now that I think about it, you were pobably #51!
I loved your alter project for sure, what scrapbook pages did you submit? I would really enjoy seeing them, so all of us can oooh and ahhhh over them! I actually entered and didn’t make it either, but I know I could have scraplifted about 150 different “scrap idols” and I would have made it in, because I know the “style” they like but I stayed true to myself and I was happy with what I submitted. That is what is important to me. MY kids and family loved what I created for this mm contest. Those opinions, to me, will last forever! Cogratulations Shanna on being such an inspiration to all of us that sees your beautiful Layouts!
