……..After all…….she will be 8 yrs old this Saturday. And there’s no sneakin’ a “fake” Santa by this child. HA HA! We had our annual Fleming Family Christmas party tonight. It was loads of fun. It’s tradition at this gathering to have Santa Claus visit and give out goodie bags to the children who sit on his lap and tell him what they wish for. Macey was sick today (again! poor thing!) so she stayed with Tom while we went because she wasn’t feeling any better. It was so cute of Bailee because she told Santa what she wanted and then proceeded to tell him what Macey, her sister wanted, because she was home sick. Then later in the car ride home she told me “Mom…..that Santa was a FAKE!” “That Santa has black eyebrows!” Yes…..we had an ethnic Santa Claus tonight. And after asking around I found out it’s a “Hawaiian” friend of the family. I had to explain about the “Santa’s helpers” theory then all seemed well. I am guessing this is going to be the last Christmas for the Magical Santa for Bailee.
…………..This is my cousin Geanna and me! This isn’t the best shot of my new do but it will suffice for now. It’s a lot shorter than it was. I had at LEAST 6 inches cut off! Yay! Anyway…….Geanna has been my Best Friend since High School (I have lots of best friends…LOL) and she actually married my cousin Kelly 13years ago so of course I was elated to have her as a permanent part of my family! It’s always a joy to go to one of these extended family gatherings so we can touch base and catch each other up on the latest gossip. Good times! This girl has 5 kiddos and look at her! Skinny lil’ thang! Well….das it fo now!
