Well, I have to admit I am a little bummed because they announced the new Design Team over at Create My Keepsake this afternoon and I didn’t get the call. But that’s okay! I found an awesome new playground on the web and the talent over there is AMAZING!!! I look forward to the daily and monthly inspiration I will find with the new Design Team. CONGRATS LADIES!!! 
I thought I would share these cards I made this morning in time to submit to a current Paper Crafts sketch/color call. I don’t normally use purple AT ALL when I scrap so this is a little different for me. Especially paired with gray. I also attempted sewing on chipboard for the first time on this card and am pretty excited about easy it really was! Thanks to Roree for inspiring me to try it! Here is another card that was part of the Paper Crafts call. It required the use of a sketch and the colors Orange, Brown and Green. 
I dug out some Bo Bunny for this of course and my favorite Heidi Swapp chipboard letters. I hand-drew and cut the stars I used on this card so I thought I would share the patterns with you. Better grab them while you can cause I am hoping this card gets picked up by PC.
Okay…..It was a pretty busy weekend but I gotta share how it started on Friday night. I have the COOLEST friends in the world. I REEEEEEALLY want to post some additional photos but since my Grandma reads my blog….well…you know. I was SUPPOSED to be scrappin’ on Friday night but showed up to Kerry’s house to a surprise Baby Shower!!! There were only 7 of us total but with how loud the laughing was and the amount of gifts I brought home…..you’d have thought there was 20+ women there! LOL These girls were VERY excited about giving me a BLUE baby shower for the first time. Let’s just say they ran with a “blue balls” and “Little weenie” theme!!! I haven’t laughed that hard in a really long time. I was told that some of the decorations were even picked up from Fascinations. Nuff said right??? I love you guys! I posted a photo of the little paper bag mini-album that Lisa made for me…..too stinkin’ cute!!! And then here’s a couple photos of my new baby boy goodies! Kaelene also brought by the cutest little bear blanket but I didn’t get a picture of it! I truly am grateful ladies!!! I will miss you all like crazy when we move. Sniff! Sniff!
Speaking of baby showers…my Aunt Rena is hosting one for me in the far Northwest Valley on the 26th for all my family that live out there. I am looking forward to that too but I’m sure it will be void of pornagraphic party favors and decorations. Prolly something a little more traditional I’m guessing! Wink! My sister Deanna was the one who created a digital invite for that and since she took this photo of me….she decided to use it in the invitation. Thanks for doing those sis! They turned out pretty dang cool. Although I have to say I am getting pretty tired of looking at my fat arse pregnant self. Is it April yet?? LOL
Okay…..I think that’s it for now. Life is good. Staying very busy. The girls are great and their recent parent/teacher conferences went awesome. ALL three of them got straight A’s!!! Even my little Cassidy. I am a very proud Mama!!! Each one of their teachers are so disappointed that we are moving to Mississippi soon. I can’t believe it’s finally happening. We will be heading out there the first weekend in March. I am glad to finally have a set date though. We want to be settled and unpacked before this little man in my belly makes his grand appearance. We are all so very excited to be close to Shane’s girls. But on the flip side….leaving family and friends here makes me cry. I try really hard not to think about that part of it. Lots of life changes ahead. Pray for us! We will need it!

Honestly, don’t be too sad about not making the design team. You are a terrific designer and so much inspiration for me. I have a whole little notebook of lots and lots of your pages, cards and designs-you rock! Seriously, just know that lots of people come here to see your amazing work-and most people can’t say that.
