My dear friend Makenzie Moore (only 7yrs old) was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor just over a year ago. She lives in Peoria, AZ and is literally one of the sweetest children I have ever known. The financial struggles her family has faced in the last year has been unreal. It’s been a difficult thing watching them go through this but Makenzie is a strong kid! You can read more about Makenzie and her story here:
Her Aunt is owner of Keepsake Trends, a scrapbooking store out in Surprise, AZ. They are trying to raise money to cover the new year’s insurance deductible for Makenzie’s treatments. The fundraiser is SUPER COOL! You can donate a few dollars and get your name in a drawing to win a Crop (scrapbooking) night with BECKY HIGGINS!!! Becky has volunteerd her time to help Makenzie…..PLEASE HELP! You only have until 7pm tonight to call the store and get your tickets!!! Makenzie will be drawing 8 lucky winners tonight!! Tickets are just $10.00 each. Here is a link to the store’s contact info:

What a beautiful picture of Makenzie with President Monson. I hope things go better for her and I will keep her in my prayers. I will put her name on the prayer roll here in Billings, MT.
I came here from Erica’s site to be inspired and I was in more ways than one.
Have a great weekend.
