Love Note

…………………Holy smokes. Look at what I found on my desk a few minutes ago. Bailee must have written it before falling asleep tonight. When I was done cleaning the kitchen I came in here to find it sitting tucked under my keyboard. Not ready for this. It’s flippin’ cute as can be but seriously not ready for my girls to discover boys or boys to discover them……WHATEVER!!!!!! LOL I have always told my girls they can talk to me about ANYTHING!!! NO MATTER WHAT IT IS! I have stressed that even if they feel like it’s something they are too embarrassed to talk about then they can write it down in a note or a letter to me. As long as we communicate with each other I don’t care how it’s done. Well…..heaven help us on this stuff!!! This is one note I could have gone 25years without seeing! Hee Hee!

OH WOW!! Good luck. I have a 5 yr old that has a ‘crush’ on Lauren, teh 5 yr old at daycare. she however is a typical 5 yr old girl, boys are icky, Charlie is too wild, he bugs me…She is gonna breat his heart, I just know it.
I’ll say a little prayer for ya! You’ll need it.

That is adorable! I’m scared for those days! My daughter has a “boyfriend” and she’s 4! But we approve of him, he’s 19 and leaving to Brazil on a mission next month, so if she wants a boy friend I guess he’s a great one to have!!

My 4 1/2 yo and I were walking across the street to preschool as a boy in her class was driving up in their minivan. His mom told me that when they saw us he said, “There’s my girl, mom, there’s my girl.” When I picked her up, I asked dd who she played with today, she said, “just Serena, but Channing (the boy from the minivan) was throwing things at me.”

LL Cool J! YEAH BABY! haha! but anyway, that’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. more in a cute way than anything else. Bailee’s gonna be telling the boys to “step off” pretty soon. I was just thinking the other day that they were looking really grown up already. where has the time gone???? CRAZY STUFF!!!

Hey I just got Ice Cube. Hehe! I know who that one is.
Shanna’s call me and I will read the note I found that Makenna wrote TO a boy. It was a poem she copied from somewhere. Mushy YUCK! I am beside myself trying to figure out how to deal with this as a mom. Ahhhhhh! I am not ready either. Bailee’s note is too cute and innocent. Love it!

  9. Teri Says:

LOL! Oh sorry, Shanna but it doesn’t get any easier from here on out. My oldest was just proposed to last weekend in Chicago. I’m a little terrified for her but she is out of my hands now. She will be 20 in May and whatever she does now is between her & the Navy. =)
