I am counting the days…..no wait….hours….okay MINUTES!!!! Shane and I are leaving early on Friday to head to Mississippi for the weekend! I am soooooo excited to be going this trip! I haven’t been back there since before we were married! Shane will be baptizing his oldest daughter Kacie. Yes…that’s her in the photo. It’s going to be a special weekend and I am so glad to get to be apart of it! Thanks to my sister Deanna who will be watching my daycare kiddos on Friday and my own girls all weekend so I can get outta town! Woot! Woot! 
Thought I would share this wedding gift I finished yesterday. This gorgeous girl is my dear friend Lisa’s oldest daughter…Brianne. I wish I could have attended their wedding in Salt Lake last month but work and finances sometimes get in the way of the fun stuff. When I get wedding announcements/invites in the mail…..it’s very exciting for me! If they include a beautiful photograph like Jeff & Brianne’s did then I get to create a framed layout to remember this special time. I kept this one simple. I hope she likes it!
Okay….one more project share! I completed this special order during nappy time today! Karen saw my “FAMILY” Wurdz on my ETSY shop and asked if I could make a special one for her daughter Jessi whose room has a beachy theme! You know I was like “Heck YEAH!” I love anything beachy. And I still can’t get enough of this line from Making Memories. The fun thing about owning a scroll saw and being able to cut my own wood and projects….the possibilities are limitless with this. Any holiday, theme…..scrappy paper line….whatever…..if you can imagine it….I can probably do it! Email me if you want a custom WURDZ set created! I’d love to do it!
Okay…..my daycare duties are calling! I get to go get my hair highlighted tonight after work! Woot! Woot! I need it bad! LOL

I love the idea of taking the wedding announcement and making a gift of it! Someone did that for us many moons ago but it was just a picture in a template kind of thing…this is awesome! I’m totally lifting this idea, thanks! Enjoy MS!
