In[s]piration-Late & Two Peas Crop Update!

So Sorry this is late! It’s been seriously crazy around here! Shane went to Mississippi over the weekend to visit his girls and he will fly in late tonight. I played in the Grand Canyon State Games on Saturday for most of the day. My 4’s sand volleyball team took 2nd place to win the silver medal. It was A LOT of fun! I am really sore today though because I am really out of shape. The joys of getting old and discovering gravity in a whole new perspective. :) But none of you know about that right?

Anyway….here is my bit of inspiration for this week! I have made it a point and a personal goal for myself to use my scraps!!!! Whenever I am finished with a layout or a project….I WILL NOT clean up the mess until I have made at least a couple of cards before I’m done! These two cards pictured here are ones I made using the left over Basic Grey Blush papers I used on my layout of Michelle I posted! Honestly…..do we really end up using that paper again……ever? Get your money’s worth from it. Make someone’s week by sending a card or….this is what I have in mind… I am going to keep tabs on the current Paper Crafts & Paper Trends calls and see if they are looking for specific themed cards. I haven’t been submitting my stuff and I think it’s time I start! It will be a challenge to myself! ****Oh…..I will post later today who won the drawing for participating in the “scrap-a-friend” challenge! I need to go through the posts still! And I want to share what was done too! You guys rock!

One last thing! The AZ Creating Keepsakes Convention is around the corner!!!! That means the Two Peas Crop is gonna be here too! I am sooooo excited! It’s going to be a blast! I spent some time contacting 60+ different scrapbooking companies & manufacturers for product donations so hopefully we will get a huge response for the prizes and giveaways! If I haven’t received your payment for the crop….please get it to me asap! That’s the only way I can confirm your spot and we are quickly approaching maximum capacity! YAY!

Those cards are, as my mom would say, AWESOME!!!

Good for you on the volleyball competition! The only thing I can do in any sport (well) is serve a volleyball. But that’s it. I’m lucky enough to be coordinated to walk. LOL

Great cards and a really good idea. I do keep and reuse my scraps, but I have so much, it’s likely impossible I’ll ever get thru them! Thanks for organizing the crop–you’re definitely one busy lady.
