In[s]piration Friday

I am sooooo excited about this week’s in[s]piration piece!!! I found this idea in the May/June issue of Scrapbooks Etc. magazine and knew immediately that I needed one for myself! The sample was created by Mellette Berezoski and it’s WAAAAY cute! In fact….I was trying to go for something VERY similar at first but ended up with one of my most FAVORITE color schemes so I am happy with how this turned out! I’ve got some fun goodies on this too. A Bazzill chipboard flower, Heidi Swapp flower mask, some new Revolution sized Flourishes by QuicKutz, and the font is Blossom. ANyway, hopefully you can see the tabs okay too. I am always looking thru magazines for ideas and jotting down little sketches or patterns so this will be a perfect way to keep these ideas organized…..AND CUTE TO BOOT!!!! Here’s my version of Mellette’s Design Ideas book:

…………..So I made it to the Social Security Administration today. That place ranks up there with Motor Vehicle and the Dentist’s office. Top THREE places I HATE to go but HAVE to. I sat there for like an hour and a half before they finally called my number! Shane and I got asked to speak in sacrament meeting on Sunday. (I know…hell just froze over…end of the world is here…run for cover!) And I WISH I would have taken my scriptures and notebook with me and worked on my talk while I was sitting there wasting time. Am I the only one who gets UBER-annoyed at stuff like that? I couldn’t even sit there and answer some emails cause they made us turn our phones (crackberry’s) off…..THE HORROR! Good news is I finally officially made myself Shanna Vineyard. Now to the MVD in a few days to get a new license. YAY….can’t wait!

Have a great weekend everyone!!! ~Shanna

Oh Shanna, you made it to the SS office a lot quicker than I did. I kept telling my new (and much better) sweetheart that I was waiting a year just to make sure he was the ONE. He didn’t think that was so funny. LOL

Yeah, don’t ask, he’s definitely the ONE for me.

And cute on the book. Maybe next week after my last class is over I can play in my room again. *sigh*

That little design ideas notebook caught my attention too when I was looking at my Scrapbook Etc. yesterday….You did a fantastic job with it! I love your color combinations and the flower and flourish too! Too cute!

  7. Fletch Says:

ummmm…..when I got married and divorced I did all my social security stuff through the mail

Can I just say that notebook is to die for?

Speaking in Sacrament? Better you than me?

Very cool, Shanna. Congrats on making it official. I remember those days. You couldn’t open a joint bank account in your name unless you had the driver’s license. You couldn’t get the license unless you had the SS#. And I think to get that you needed the marriage license. (Which incidentally, I’ve lost somewhere…where IS that thing?) Anywhoo, cool beans. Great design book. You’ve got skeeelz!

HA HA! OK, so I’m only laughing because I was also suppose to speak in Church on Sunday, but I got out of it! :)

Right after they asked, the Stake Pres called and told them he was reorganizing the Bishopric on Sunday — so we were off the hook for SUnday and we got the blessings of saying yes.

Good luck tomorrow! It will be awesome. I’ll be thinking about you while I sit on my pew.

If you are interested, e-mail me at tinalyn33@hotmail.com. Sorry to post this here but I couldn’t find out a way to e-mail you LOL!

I love this. Great inspiration piece. I have a dull ordinary binder. Maybe I will put them all into a book instead. I feel sorry for you sitting at the SS office. I have changed my SS too many times to post so I know how frustrating it is down there.

  14. Angie Says:

Oooo! I love that book! I need one. Right now all of my ideas and inspirations are in my cluttered head and it’s just not working for me.

  15. Ashley Says:
