I’m exhausted. I haven’t gotten much sleep lately. I think Brody is getting toofers. I think he’s teething. So I made a trip to Wal Mart tonight for teething tablets and Ora-jel. Seems to be helping. Crossing my fingers. I should be in bed but I need to blog before I have tooooo much to blog about and then I start avoiding it. HA HA! Does that make any sense at all??? LOL
Okay… so I KNOW I just scrapped this photo of the lil Dude but I ♥ it so much I had to use it again with these Making Memories goodies. At first I wasn’t liking this layout too much cause it looked like I threw up stars in the left corner but it’s grown on me. Fun stuff.
More wildlife on the homefront. HA HA! I told you we are a zoo up in here! Lookie what Shane found today. He was actually trimming the trees and came SUPER close to trimming right through this sweet little bird’s nest. There are 4 little babies in there. It’s kinda hard to tell from the photo. I told Shane to watch my back while I snapped this photo cause the Mama of these little peeps was pirched on our roof and squawkin’ like crazy at us cause we were too close to her babies. I was totally paranoid that she would swoop down and peck my head or something…. she was THAT mad. LOL The girls got a total kick out of it. Needless to say… Shane postponed the tree trimming a few more days until these guys have flown the coop.
Check out this scrappy-mess. Hee hee! Wanna play? This is what happens when you’re trying to create a magnificant card for the next round of Paper Craft’s Gallery Idol Contest!!! It looks nothing like this now that I cleaned it up but can you tell what color scheme I went with on my card by looking at my table? I blurred out the card in the photo cause ya can’t see until Monday at Noon! But I will say….. the challenge was SCALLOPS. I almost died today when I showed Shane my finished card and he asked as he pointed to it, “Are those SCALLOPS?” I giggled and said yes cause he had no idea what I was talking about when I told him the new challenge. He was thinking shrimp or seafood when I said scallops. Ummm… riiiiiiiiiight. HA HA! Men. Anyhoo…. another fun hint on my card… It’s for my sweet Grandma’s 75th birthday. She turns 75 the end of this month so…. this one’s for you Grandma!
Shane took the girls this morning to register for fall soccer. YAY! YAY! YAY! I love watching my girls play soccer! It doesn’t start until after school starts but I am totally excited to be a soccer mom again! They were super excited about it too….especially cause Shane’s going to be Macey, Kacie, Cassidy, and Karlie’s coach! Bailee has to play in an older age group than the other girls so Shane can’t coach her but she’s still excited.
I ♥ this layout. I ♥ these photos of my girls. I ♥ when they get all silly and goofy and laugh hysterically. It’s totally contagious! I had to do some bright and fun colors to reflect the emotion of these pics. I hope it worked. You can’t really tell by the photo but all the little red circles that create a border around the picture are not brads like you’d think but rather I punched a bunch of 1/4″ circles out of red paper and glued them down. This layout was inspired by this week’s sketch over at Triple the Sketch. It’s an awesome one this week…. go play!
Okay…. i am seriously getting sleepy now. Gotta get to bed. Church in the morning. I get to find out WHERE in the Primary I am going to be teaching tomorrow. Wait….. back up. Last week I was given two callings and they are going to announce it in church tomorrow. One calling is working on the Activities Committee…. Shane got the same calling. And the other one I was asked to be a teacher in Primary but the Bishop wasn’t exactly sure which age group it was when he asked if I would accept. LOL So I guess I will know when it gets announced. HA! Then NEXT week hopefully everyone in our ward will be on Vacation cause Shane and I have to give talks in sacrament meeting on Missionary work. I guess I better start preparing for that.
Aight… I’m out.

UGH! Every time I open your blog there is some sort of scrapping goodness. Where do you find the time? You must be the busiest person I know and yet you still have time to scrap and not only that — the energy to be creative!
