I am waving hello wildly from sunny AZ (hell’s kitchen–it’s flippin’ HOT here! LOL) where I am here with lil’ Brody for a visit until Thursday morning. The time has gone by so quickly as I’ve been spending some quality time with friends & family. I miss my sweet hubby and kiddos like crazy though. It’s always a bittersweet thing to head back home. Anyway, that’s why I haven’t been on the computer much this last week. I will share some more photos when I get home. I promise.
So… I can’t remember if I posted that I made it to the TOP 10 of the Paper Crafts card Gallery Idol contest or not but THANKS TO YOU GUYS I did and am sooooo excited to be here! Thanks so much for all your votes! Our current challenge was to create a card with a quote on it. I had quite a time trying to figure out what to do with such limited scrappy resources here. I am soooooo out of my comfort zone working away from my scrappy space at home. Thank goodness my mom had the basics to get me through and a fun trip to the local scrapbook store didn’t hurt either. Wink!
Okay….. they finally fixed the voting process so it’s a lot easier to see all the cards and cast your vote.
