Yay…..you have no idea how excited I am to be home! Almost as excited as I was to go to Utah for the retreat! We woke up this morning to A LOT of snow on the ground and you all know how I feel about the white stuff! It was pretty but I was ready to come home to warmer weather! My trip was AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZING! Everything I learned was soooo valuable. If you guys saw what is involved in making one QuicKut die……you would NEVER question the high prices again. It’s AMAZING!!! Very Very labor intensive. The company is top of the line…. from the product to the people behind the scenes. They treated us like royalty and I probably gained 10 pounds just from all the good food!!! I had an amazing sushi fest on Saturday night too that I will never forget!!! YUMMMMMMY!!!! I tried at least 10 different kinds and stuffed myself to the gills! (no pun intended ) Anyway…….we brainstormed, did make-n-takes at the local scrapbook stores, put together an amazing mini-album with all of our work, toured the die plant, shopped at Pebbles in my Pocket (COOL STORE), ATE, ATE, ATE, LAUGHED, LAUGHED LAUGHED, got to see some new product in the works, and did sooooo many other things as well!!! I have so many amazing new friends now and it was an experience I will always cherish!!! When they put together a new design team next year you need to apply!!! Oh…..and the other thing I CANNOT forget. When they told me to pack an extra suitcase I didnt believe them. I had to go to Walmart and buy another suitcase so I could bring home all the freebies we got!!! Andrea spoke with soooooo many of the manufacturers and they donated an OBSCENE amount of new scrappy supplies to us!!! American Crafts, Bazzill, Basic Grey, Scenic Route, Chatterbox…..just to name a few!!! My date went REALLY well. We are hoping to see each other again soon……I will post more details later! I am exhausted. It’s good to be home with my little girls tucked into their beds. I missed them. Here are a few pics from this weekend. I will post more throughout the week! Also……a lot of the goodies I got were things I already have to stay tuned for more RAKS during the next few weeks! Have a great week!
