Holiday hustle & bustle

Mi vida loca! Well….the Holidays are most assuredly here. You’ll have to forgive that my posts will be few and far between over the next several weeks. I have several orders I am working on to get out this week and aside from the fact that Christmas is right around the corner…..there’s other important dates quickly approaching as well. My oldest daughter Bailee is turning 10 on Monday the 17th. SHe’s having her first sleepover on Friday night and it seems that it’s better than Christmas…..she’s so excited. Then Saturday night Shane and I are heading up to Sedona to stay the night here. This is where we spent our wedding night one year ago on Sunday. CRAZY how quickly this year has gone and the fun changes it’s brought. We are looking forward to a night of luxury, the festival of lights, a little snow and hot chocolate, and a little Christmas shopping on Sunday before heading back down to the valley.

girls blog Snow 1This last weekend was so much fun hanging out with a few of my closest girlfriends. We made our annual trip up to Prescott to stay the day at Lisa’s. We scrap-shopped, we ate some really yummy food (Lisa’s meatballs & cheesey potatoes are the BOMB!!!), we had some fun photo shoots, we exchanged gifts, ornaments and lots of good laughs. Oh….and we got snow too! (check out my car above!) I am really going to miss this group of ladies when we move. Especially Lisa. She’s been a real support system for me over the years and my Christmas Angel this year. Don’t know what I’d do without her! Love you and David girl! Thank heavens for internet and cell phones! LOL

Okay….I really gotta get into bed. I have a busy day again tomorrow. I will leave you with a few fun photos of my girls! Last week we baked and decorated some sugar cookies. Yum. And then tonight we went to our family Christmas party where there was a special visitor. I was shocked to see Bailee even sit on Santa’s lap this year. She must want that IPOD reeeeeeeally bad! LOL

Hope everyone is having a joyous season! Enjoy every minute of it! Especially with those you love! BaileeCookies2resizeBaileeCookiesresizeCassieCookies3resizeCassieCookies2resizeCassieCookiesresizeMaceyCookies2resizeMaceyCookiesresizeGirlsCookiesresizeMaceySantaLapBaileeSantaCassieSantaLap

wow lots of great photos to illustrate your post. I love those cookie photos! Esp. the one of your daughter tasting her creation. The look on her little face is too cute! How awesome. I haven’t done any cookies yet. What a slacker. I gotta get cracking. I love how you are able to go do things for yourself with your girlfriends and also go on dates with your husband. It’s so hard to schedule in ‘me time’. I wish I had more of that.
