Happy Hump Day!

Can you believe we are 7 days into the New Year already? I can hardly believe it. Will somebody puh-lease talk Father Time into slowing things down a bit? My life just seems to be whizzing by! I can’t be the only one who feels this way! LOL

Okay… so I finally got the tree and Christmas decco down and packed up yesterday. The storage buckets still need to be moved to the “shack” but the rain here hasn’t let up long enough to dry things out so I can do that. I am missing the sun. Today is the first I’ve seen of it in DAYS! A welcome change. Praying to the Sun Gods that it lasts a little while.

HotCocoaLayoutAnyhoo… I’ve been creating when I can still. Here’s a layout I can share of Macey and her love of Hot Chocolate! (Remember to click on the photos to see the larger image!) Thanks to Renee for taking the photos of Macey for me while she was visiting over winter break. This “Winter Whisper” line from Bo Bunny is perfect for snow photos but heaven knows I don’t have any of THOSE! LOL Sooooo… I went with the hot cocoa theme. I love this line and it’s beautiful blues and browns! Great for boy OR girl pages! Here’s the Bo Bunny blog post about it in case you don’t check there regularly. If you post a message you can win some Bo Bunny goodies so head on over!

ScriptureCard1ScriptureCard2 These two scripture cards were inspired by the sketches over at 2Sketches4You this week. I have several cards I am creating for my friend Tracie. She loves giving scripture cards to her visiting teaching sisters and also sending them to her bro-in-law who is serving a mission for our church. I still have a couple more to do for her but using this week’s sketches got me started!

Okay… that’s it I think! I am excited to share with you the other project I am working on that is a spin-off of the Becky Higgin’s 365 project. You can read more about her version on her blog. I know a lot of people are trying to play along this year! I already know there’s NO WAY I would stay on top of taking a photo every single day for a year and journaling about it. So I have decided to commit to a once a week project. That’s doable for me. “A Week in Our Life” sort of thang. I’m excited. And since it’s sunny outside today I can finally pull my scroll saw out to make my album cover! YAY!!! More to come on that!

Happy Hump Day!
