I truly can’t believe we are already a week into November! It’s surreal to me. Where has this year gone? Seriously! Well, I finally got the Halloween decco taken down (but not put away….it’s all in a pile in the garage and I’m hoping the storage fairy will do something about it this weekend!). The fall/Thanksgiving stuff is out…..what there is of it. These are just a few photos of the top of our entertainment center. I’m hoping the weather will change soon along with the holidays. It was flippin’ 90 degrees outside yesterday and that just ain’t right.
I am excited about this weekend…..I get to head back east tomorrow and experience some REAL FALL weather and colors! I won’t go into details but I am heading out to Raleigh, NC until Sunday night. I am working with my Dad for this new company that helps people get out of (sell off) their time shares…..blah, blah, blah. I won’t be doing the presentations…..that’s my Dad’s job. I just have to be the little hostess that helps seat people, make sure they’re comfy, get them drinks, and help them fill out some paperwork. Easy peasy. The thing that is exciting is it’s a job that I can do from anywhere because they fly me all over. I will be able to do this the two weekends a month that my girls will be at their Dad’s house once we move out to Mississippi. (which we are planning to make happen around the first of the year…..SOON! FINALLY!) Anyhoo….This weekend happened to work out great because Tom will be in town to have the girls for the long holiday weekend and Shane is heading to the dunes with his brother’s family. I get to make some money, spend some time with my Daddy and visit a new part of the country. And you KNOW I will be hunting down a few scrapbook stores while I’m there….maybe even go to a crop Friday or Saturday night.

The countdown is officially on until the ultra-sound appointment. I got it scheduled today for 12 days from now. Shane and I will be going together on the 19th to determine our family’s fate. LOL. KIDDING! Part of me doesn’t WANT to go. I think I’m totally scared. What if Shane doesn’t ever get a son? We decided this was it. Boy or no boy. We might end up with 6 girls and that would be okay too. I’m just going to chew off my own hand until I know I guess. I will keep you posted!
Okay. Last thing I wanted to mention is the $0.05 shipping going on in my Etsy shop thru the end of November!!! YEP! Shipping on each item purchased is only 5 whole cents! After all it’s the THANKSGIVING month right? So I am giving back some THANKS to you for helping me get this little place going. You’ve helped me afford my hobby I love so much without affecting my family’s budget. For this I am truly grateful! Please note that anything purchased today thru Monday, Nov. 12th will be shipped on Nov. 13th due to the holiday and me heading back east! When I get back I hope to work on some more things to add to the shop with Christmas coming. Have any requests? What would you like to see me add or create more of?

Just wanted to comment on the sex of the baby topic… TRUST me, I can totally relate. I went through the same waiting for the ultrasound for my 6th (boy). I had soooo badly wanted a girl, for a long time. We also decided that this would be it and be done. I even had a tubal done, but now that my baby is 1 year old.. I am getting that baby itch again to try for a girl!
How about if you wind up with a housefull of girls, we just swap some of them out! lol

you are going to have a boy. i just know it. i think you should do some tole painty stuff on etsy. and also some altered frames. maybe christmas ones for the holly’s. and i think that altered tampons would be a big seller. since you prolly have SCADS of those lying around!

I linger around your blog so much. I find it beyond inspirational…not only for the craftiness, but also your management of time. I’m not sure how you do it all! I’m single, no kids (except for my 2 dog-children), and yet I just don’t seem to have time to scrap or blog as much as I would like.
Anyhow, thanks for keeping me motivated!!! Oh, and when you are ready, I would love to hear about your dad’s new business. I need to sell my timeshare!!! ;-}
BTW, you know the new baby (whether boy or girl)will be just what you need. I’m not a super religious girl, but isn’t it wonderful how we get just what we need which isn’t necessarily always what we want!?!?!? You’re a lucky girl!
