My “oldest friend on earth” is officially 21 today! Wink! Wink! Let me explain what I mean by “oldest friend on earth”. By this I mean I have been friends with Janet longer than anyone else I know besides family. We have been best friends for 27 years now. How many people can you say that about really? We haven’t always been the call once a week friends but being inseparable at age 8 and into your teenage years really does have a lasting affect on a girl’s heart. And we both know we can call each other anytime we need a listening ear. I love and respect this girl so much! Her life has enriched mine just by being a part of it. Soooooo… Janet. If you happen to check my blog today….. Happy Happy Birthday girl! Make it a good one!

Check out the writing on the wall behind you guys! “geanna loves Joey” and “shanna loves Byron”??????????? HOLEY SCHMOLEY! How hysterical is that??? I have 27 years of fond memories girl! You were such a huge part of my childhood and I’m blessed we still keep in touch and pray it will always be that way!
I know ya’ll are curious what’s going on with the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol Contest. First, THANKS SO MUCH to every one who voted for my card!!!! It bums me out that the Patriotic card round officially “doesn’t count” and it’s going to be a “do-over”. But I want fairness for everyone involved so it’s a good thing. And that means one extra round of creative goodness right? So…. we’ve been instructed to create a card using SCALLOPS. That’s the theme for our next challenge. We have until Monday at 9am to email them and then voting begins at Noon on this Monday the 14th. Like I did before, I will post a direct link to all the cards so you know where to go to vote for your fave.

That camp picture is RAD! Love it. I don’t even think I have pictures from my camp years. Bummer. But that is one heck of a hilarious picture. LOVE IT. Happy b-day to your friend.

just got back from Pismo beach and spent my birthday in LA for an audition for Don’t for get the Lyrics. I’ll know soon if I made the show or not. It was a great birthday spent it Ca with my family. Love you girl we have to stay good friend we have to much dirt on one another. Thanks for the wishes.

Love Love Love the hair from girls camp!!!!! I have a few dozen pictures just like them, one of my funniest was one year it rained the whole week, remember back in the day when girls camp was a whole week- well anyway we never came out of our tents and my friend Tara (whom I still talk to once a week for 25 years) painted hair on her entire party with a ball point pen. We laughed for days, what were we thinking, I think I may have to forward this to her daughter at U of U right now, what dorks we were!! T
