Happy 6th Birthday Casserole!!!

CassCrackResize This child CRACKS ME UP! She always has from day one and continues to do so on a daily basis! Yes…..this is HER crack. LOL I think I took this photo when she was like 2 or 3yrs old. Can’t remember. As I was browsing thru old pics tonight trying to find some fun ones to share of her I saw this and just knew I had to share. She won’t like me for it when she gets older. But that’s what we are supposed to do as parents right? Embarrass our children? We had a fun day celebrating her 6th birthday today. It started out kinda crazy. My girls were out of school for the day and by Noon they were driving me BONKERS! I think the birthday excitement was gettin’ the best of them. Here’s a few more pictures of Cassidy before I share the birthday ones. Oh…and how many kids still look this dang cute even pickin’ their nose? CassPickResizeCassTrampResize CassFlowersResize 1

So for her birthday she got to pick two friends to take with her and her sisters to Bounce U. If you’ve never been there….ya GOTTA check it out! It’s a ton of fun and great exercise for the kids. Shane and I had fun watching them move from one bouncy thing to the next for a few hours. We always let the girls pick their choice for dinner on their birthday and my Cassidy chose Taco Bell. Funny huh? You know my pocket book wasn’t complaining about that! LOL Anyway….after dinner it was opening gifts, cake and ice cream, and off to BounceU. Hey….and don’t make fun of my home made ghetto-fabulous cake! It’s EXACTLY what Cassidy wanted! I can decorate the heck out of some paper or a scrapbook….. but cake????? Yah…..not my thing. ANyway…..Happy Birthday my sweet Casser Monkey! Hope you had a fun day and I’m so proud and blessed to be your Mommy! That crack picture cracks me up! I have many of those of my daughter as well;)

I have a pretty good nose picking one too. My SIL wanted to put my daughter in a baby contest in their hometown. I said fine but you have to get on stage and we aren’t going to do her up (several kids arrive with their actual outfit in plastic bags to put on just before going on stage). Well my SIL agreed to my terms. When they got on stage my daughter decided maybe then would be a good time to display her talent and she picked her nose :) The judges must have been impressed because my little girl in her watermelon jumper beat all the other little girls with curled hear and ruffles on!

ok so i had to make fun of your ghetto-fab cake since you pointed out the obvious….just love that its even still in the metallic pan you bake it in! LOL But those cakes that are made with love and not bought in the store are what will be remembered forever. What kid is going to say ‘oh I just loved my costco cake’. I am all about home-made cake.
