So I haven’t posted my exciting scrappy news but I made it past the first round of cuts in the “Last Scrapper Standing” contest over at Create My Keepsake! They need to fill one design team spot for the next 6 months and are having this contest to determine the winner. I am actaully shocked I’ve made it THIS far with all the insanely amazing talent over there! They posted challenge #2 on Monday which was to surf the net to find a slogan on a t-shirt then use it on a card or altered project. It’s been an entertaining task to say the least because there are some pretty flippin’ hilarious t-shirts out there and some I can’t even post on my blog. LOL
Anyhoo…. here’s my project. I’ve posted the befores and afters as well as the T-shirt that inspired the finished piece of art! It’s funny cause this Rooster wall hanging/key holder/chalkboard thingy has been sitting in the pile to go to Goodwill ever since we moved in. There were soooo many other scrappy projects running through my head but I’m glad I stuck with this one. Even if I don’t advance to the next round of Last Scrapper Standing at least I have something fun hanging in my scrappy space that makes me smile!!!

Love, love, love the wall hanging!!! The funniest t-shirt slogan I’ve ever seen was “I believe in giving home-made gifts - which one of my kids do you want?”! I would never make a wall hanging out of it though ;o) . Congrats on getting to the next round!!! I’m not surprised at all. I hope you make it. You will be a huge asset to their team, girlie!
