So today’s the day! Last day to post for a chance to get your name in the drawing ONE LAST TIME! It’s been fun! Can’t believe how quickly March is zooming by! The girls don’t have school this week and are out for Spring Break. So yesterday afternoon we made some shamrock cookies! My Mom’s sugar cookie recipe is THE BEST!!! I swear we have a cookie cutter for every occasion in this house so there is ALWAYS an excuse to bake cookies! Don’t they look yummy? The last thing that’s going in the green giveaway box is this Wilton Shamrock Cookie cutter! Here is the recipe if anyone wants to try it!
Mom’s Sugar Cookies
1 pound margarine
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. almond extract
6 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Cream together margarine & sugar. Add eggs and mix. Add vanilla, almond & lemon extracts, mix. Add 6 cups flour, baking soda and salt. Mix together then chill dough 1-2 hours in covered bowl. Cut and bake at 375 for 8-10mins. Enjoy!
I am going to post again later tonight and announce the big winner! You only have until 3pm CST to post. It’s gonna take me a bit to make sure ya’ll got your names in the drawing as many times as you posted! YAY! So excited to send this package off!
Wear your green today so you don’t get pinched!
OH!!!! One more GREEN thing I found online that I gotta share! I WILL be using this myself too! CLICK HERE TO PRINT!!!!!
