One of my very favorite things to do is pick something up I run across in the store that’s a little boring but is still cute and has potential. I love to give it LIFE by altering it or adding a lil sumpin’ sumpin’ to it.
Like these cute little Hallmark Thank You cards for example. See how stinkin’ cute they are??? I mean I certainly wouldn’t complain if I got one of these in the mail from a friend! But what if you took just a few minutes and added some flowers, a little bling and rounded the sharp corners??? This took me literally like 5 minutes to spice up these 4 cards! Now that thank you I can send a friend has gone from going in her trash can to maybe on her desk, window sill, or fridge for an extra few days to remind her how REALLY grateful I am! ![]()

This set of 4 Thank You cards with the GREEN envies is today’s goodie box giveaway!!! So be sure & post a comment for yet another chance to win the big prize! If you’ve missed out and are checking in for the first time…. CLICK HERE to read more about my GIVING AWAY THE GREEN fun!!! It’s been a JOLLY GREEN time! Okay. I’ll shut up now. LOL
Bummer. I didn’t make the Graphic 45 Design Team. Oh well! After checking out the work of those ladies who did… I’m not surprised AT ALL!!! Their entries just blew me away! Congrats to them!
And before I go… I will leave you with an official health update! LOL We have three sickies in the house. Macey, Brody and myself. Yesterday was spent mostly at the doctor’s office getting checked out and filling prescriptions for antibiotics. Brody has his 7th ear infection in his short little lifespan so they finally referred him to the ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist). Shane is taking him there on Thursday for me. I am sad but relieved at the same time. I am so tired of my sweet little boy being on meds constantly. Maybe he will even start sleeping thru the night after he gets the tubes in his ears and he’s not in so much pain. A mom can only hope. He also has bronchitis like Macey and I do. We all got some good drugs and should be feeling much better by the end of the day! They gave Brody an antibiotic shot in his leg so he would feel better FASTER. poor baby.
Thanks so much for all your prayers and well-wishes! They are really appreciated!
Okay! I’m off to create and take some cough syrup with codeine!!
Happy Hump Day everyone! Toodles!

Awww too bad you’re all sick, esp. Brody. Poor lil man. I can’t imagine having to deal with that many ear infections. I don’t envy you sitting up all night rocking him (cuz that’s what moms do when their babies get sick).
Love those Hallmark TY cards. My neighbor is the manager of the cute little Hallmark store out at SanTan Village (Williamsfield/Market St. in Gilbert) so I’ll have to stop in and raid her store soon. She is always letting me know when they are having sales and stuff. Maybe I’ll get lucky!

You will be SOOO glad if he does get the tubes. My daughter had so many ear infections it was pitiful. SHe would only be off the meds a week and she would get it again. Our news station was at the dr. office to do a story on recurring ear infections and the staff even told them there was this mom they just had to talk to and we were interviewed on the evening news about it. She finally had tubes and has never had one infection since! I hope you all feel better soon!!!

I’m glad you guys are on the mend. Having 6 boys, we have had our fair share of ear infections and the like. We even went to the ENT in the past, but were then told that they didn’t want to go the tube route. Luckily for us, the ear infections died down. I hope little Brody gets to feeling better soon.
