Sorry I’m so late posting today. It was a rough morning. I think I’m gonna bite the bullet and just head to the doctor tonight after Shane gets home. I thought I was on the upside of this chest infection but after the morning I had that’s clearly not so. I’m thinking bronchitis again. Yuck. Fun stuff. Anyway… I’m excited to post today’s green giveaway for several reasons. First being I get to share this layout I created using these DARLING little photos of my niece Makenna when she was only almost two years old. I love her blonde hair and big smile and pink overalls in these picutres. Too cute. I have also been trying to incorporate the use of my stamps more in my projects. I used one of my favorite sets from Hero Arts called Decorative Birds. They made a sweet little border on this layout. I stamped them in brown ink then used my chalks to add the color.
Now for the GREEN goodie part! I am so excited about this ruler I found at the dollar store!!!! And can you believe it was actually GREEN???? LOL of course I got myself one and one I could give away in the box! You can see how I used it on the dark pink papers here on my layout. No more tracing and cutting using some scalloped Bazzill cardstock! YAY!

Just thought I would come back and mention that I found that green ruler at the Dollar Tree here in MS and it came in a two-pack with a yellow one which had different edges to it too. Not ones I would prolly use to scrap with but my kids will use it! LOL Glad ya’ll are likin’ it!

Hope you feel better soon! I too have been sick for the past week and finally got guilted into going to the doctor last Thursday from co-workers who were getting tired of hearing me cough non stop here at work! I thought it was just a cold and would go away on it’s own…but it was a good case of bronchitis (I’ve never had that before). After a nebulizer treatment in the office, inhalers and antibiotics…I’m feeling much better and, can actually BREATHE! So…go to the doctor and you will feel ALOT better! Get well soon!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE your post and layout. I have so many stamps and I still have yet to really try to incorporate them into my scrapping. This has given me inspiration to do so! LOVE IT!!!! Love the ruler too!!!! I never find stuff like that at our Dollar Stores!
