OMIGOODNESS….these photos seriously make my heart swell. I heart them. Can you blame me? These are my two favorite men in my life. They’ve both managed to snatch up my heart and that’s not an easy task. Brody and I made it back to church yesterday for the first time since he was born. I hate missing it or I start feeling crummy. I need that weekly spiritual boost! It was a good day. These adorable photos made it perfect. After we got home from church I had Shane stay in his dress clothes and head to the back yard with Brody. He’ll be 3 weeks old on Wednesday. I can’t believe how much they change in such a short time at this age. It’s been so long since I’ve had a newborn…I’d forgotten. Here’s my other few faves of the bunch.
I thought I would share this cute photo of Bailee too. She wanted me to take a picture of her without her “vampire” teeth so she could post them on her blog. She lost both 
of them within weeks of each other. The bookmark/tag pictured next to her was a little gift that I made for her based on this week’s sketch at Triple the Sketch. Bailee is a TOTAL bookworm. Unlike her mom. I wish I could read like this little girl does. Unless it has pictures all over it’s pages or is adorned with the latest celebrity gossip….I don’t read much. I am really grateful my kids DIDN’T get that from me. So I made this bookmark with her in mind as I finished up that Design Team assignment. She loves it & THAT makes me smile!
ALrighty….sorry I have been so lame about updating. You all know it’s been a little rough for me lately but I am FINALLY feeling normal and healthy and happy again! I think I’m past all that funky stuff. Now I need to go buy me and Brody a stroller so I can get outside and walk everyday. That ALWAYS helps me jump-start my day! I should be back to creating more now pretty quick. I’ve been itching to scrap forever but just haven’t felt motivated…if that makes ANY sense at all. LOL
So the girls and I are heading out in a few. They have the day off from school today. I had no idea until last night. I guess I missed that on the school calendar. But we are going to find a new park to play at and make the drive into Jackson for lunch. Believe it or not…they wanted Taco Bell of all places. We don’t have one close to us in Madison and haven’t actually eaten at one since we left AZ so it will be a special treat. Off to the Bell! Have a great week!
