That’s what this week was and the craziness is NOT over! This post is going to be a quickie with mostly photos. It’s noon on Saturday and our big adult Halloween bash is tonight at the house. Hillary will be here in a few hours to help me add to the decco and set up for the fun! But I still have some baking and cleaning to do too! Tom is in town so he has the girls until tomorrow. I have been looking forward to this for weeks! I finished making my costume this week too. It’s pictured here to the left. Any guesses on what I am going to be? ROFL Pretty easy but wait until you see photos!!! Can’t wait! Be on the lookout for photos over the next few days! I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE HALLOWEEN!!!!
I worked on this week’s Joy Journal entry. Here it is. Pretty simple but I had fun with it. I am liking this little book cause I can just get artsy fartsy if I want to or keep it basic and simple. It’s a little book about me and the things that bring JOY into my life so I get to just play and have fun! What scrapping SHOULD be! I have a link to the left of all my previous pages and the original post about it if you wanna check it out. I can’t believe it’s already been 4 weeks!!!
Okay…………..now for some photos! We had our ward Halloween party on Wednesday night. I’m sorry the nighttime photos are sooooooo terrible but I seriously need to learn how to use my nice camera. My brother is going to cringe when he looks at these. Oh well. I will get some better ones on Halloween night of the girls. Here they are in their witch costumes. Bailee wasn’t liking it too much. She can’t STAND ANYTHING against her skin that’s the least bit itchy. And what costumes aren’t right? The other photos are the pumpkin carving ones. Three jack-o-lanterns this year. Pretty basic though. And the sad thing…it’s been pretty warm during the day here still so our jack’s are looking shriveled already!!!! Dang AZ weather! Okay…..enjoy the lousy photos! Will be back with a bunch more in the next few days! Happy Halloween everyone!

My SIL had a great idea this year with the whole pumpkins rotting in AZ thing. She got those fake pumpkins at michaels that look real and had her kids carve those! No guts and they don’t rot. Then she got the battery tea lights and put those in them. I thought this was great because you could save them and have a whole bucnh on your porch after a few years. What do you think?? Cool huh?

I love your pumpkins! I can’t wait to carve mine, even if it was way too expensive and way too small compared to the ones you get
Hope all is well with you!
