How was everyone’s weekend? Ours was cram-packed!!! Good-times! Went 4wheelin’ with my honey (freaking sore…body parts hurtin’ I didn’t know I had!), shopping without the kids (always fun), made it to SuperCross (SUPER RAD!), Primary Activity Day (will post photos later!), What else? Oh…..went and saw FREEDOM WRITERS!!! Holy cow! GO SEE THAT MOVIE! It was incredible! I think I embarassed Shane cause I was pretty much crying thru the entire show. I can’t even begin to tell you how moving it was. For all you Patrick Dempsey loving freaks out there…..you may want to pass though. He was a BIG freakin’ jerk in this movie.
I have to share with you how my weekend started though. And try not to giggle too hard. Remember THIS POST??? Yah….how I burnt the mac n cheese? Well, my friend Mechelle (yes I spelled that right!) who is one of the cutest things on the planet brought this ERK over for me. EMERGENCY RESPONSE KIT. It’s pictured here to the left. Click on it to see it larger. She is HILARIOUS. I can’t believe she did this……..totally clowned me after reading my blog entry. The first tag was attached to the “Cooking Basics for Dummies” book that read FIRST read this cover to cover. The SECOND tag was attached to the box of Mac N Cheese and said “Try Making Dinner Again” Then the THIRD and my most favorite one said, “If that doesn’t work…Take the family to Sonic!” with a gift card to Sonic for me! Thanks a billion Mechelle! It was so great to see you again! You made my day! I was certainly feelin’ the love on Friday!!! 
On top of Mechelle’s generosity I got this SWEEEEEET package in the mail from my SoCal girlfriendLaura! She is a Bloomin’ Beauty! Sorry girl….couldn’t resist. Anyway, I won a RAK from posting on her blog so she sent me the goodies pictured here. CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT??? LOL Thanks so much Laura! The goodies were yummy! I am off to the scrap store now to make a few color copies of some layouts for CK’s current Wedding pages call. Taking my chances on this but I never submit my stuff. I plan on doing it more in 2007 now that I won’t be designing for QuicKutz anymore. I hope everyone has a fantabulous week! Be sure and scrap a layout for the challenge!!! You have until Friday!!!! Woot! Woot!

Hi , I’ve been reading your blog for a few months now, but have never left a message. Freedom Writers looks really good. In my class last summer we had to read the book for school. The whole class got really into it. It was awesome and very inspiring! I can’t wait to see the movie!
