Head on over to the Bo Bunny blog when you get a minute and check out the paper piecing contest they have going on right now. Participate and get a chance to win some goodies! I have a special little place in my heart for anything PAPER PIECING so I will be excited to see who plays and what’s created! I haven’t updated my patterns link over there on the left side of my blog in a while but there are some fun shapes that can easily be used to create something if you’re lacking ideas. This Winnie the pooh quote card I posted is one I created a paper piecing on. It’s the flower. Some people get intimidated just hearing about them or looking at them but they really are very basic and easy to put together. Just takes a little practice!

Speaking of paper piecings… Wanna see some old school ones I sold on Ebay back in the day? I made these when my sweet Macey was just a newborn and she turned 9 in May!! How crazy is that? Where has the time gone? I swear I ask that question EVERY time I post these days! LOL Anyway… I thought I would share these for old times sake! Plus they might get your creative juices flowing about all the possibilities there are creating paper piecings.
Here’s the card I did for this week’s sketch over at Triple the Sketch! The design team did some really cute stuff using this sketch! Lots of inspiration over there as always!
Okay! And as usual… I totally spaced on doing the drawing on my blog again!!! But I did finally pick a winner! Well, Cassidy picked a winner! HA! Drum roll plz………..
Daniela!!! Girl! You need to email me your mailing address so I can get the visors and scrappy goodies in the mail to you!
Have a great weekend everyone! It’s wet and rainy here!
