My little girl is growing up! She’s been asking for the last week to get her hair cut short. And hey…. if she is ASKING for it… I am ALL OVER IT. I guess she’s gotten sick of mommy brushing it in the mornings before school. It’s always a nappy, tangly mess….until now. I *heart* her new hair-do! We got it done this afternoon and I swear I almost jumped in the chair and had the girl cut mine the exact same way!!! But I can’t go there. Shane likes my hair longer. ANd I still care that he cares. HA HA HA! Anyway…. Cassie’s new do makes her look older to me. Whaaaaaa! So sad!
And while we were outside taking photos of her hair she INSISTED I take some pictures of her little green friend. My girls love to be outside digging and searching for lizards and bugs. Eeeeeew… but that’s what makes them happy. Cassidy found this little green caterpillar today. Or worm….whatever it is. This squishy guy has no idea that if he’s still alive come Monday morning he’ll be taking a little field trip to school and meeting 20 other kindergartners. It’s show and tell time. It’s ALWAYS show and tell time with a couple of 6 year olds in the house right? LOL Anyhoo… I’m glad Cass asked me to take pictures of her and her bug today. I can’t wait to scrap these photos. It’s her childhood afterall.
Okaaaaaaaay….off to post on the “other” blog real quick so I can actually get some scrapping done. SHane took the girls out on his friend Scott’s boat. There was some shin-dig with fireworks and stuff going on at the Reservoir tonight. Good times.

My youngest granddaughter is growing up way too fast! Love her new haircut and the pictures of her and her green worm. She was picking out the bait worms in the can when the girls were fishing.
