What’s everyone up to?
I was thinking today how crazy life is…as in busy. But I love it like this. I’m not a sit on the couch type person. In fact–I’ve been waiting for a package to come from the UPS guy that I will share with you but only if you promise not to laugh. It will PROVE how incapable I am of relaxing much on the couch. I guess I have more-so now since marrying Shane. He’s gotten me hooked on different TV shows. Right now at night after the girls go to bed I am getting caught up on Smallville. Does anyone else watch this? LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I *heart* the DVR.
Anyway… back on track here. Now that I am officially a Stay-at-home-Mom and I don’t do daycare or work outside the home anymore, for some reason I thought my day-to-day would be a little less busy. WRONG-O!!! Somehow from the time I drop the girls off to school at 730am in the morning and pick them back up at 210pm….the clock moves at lightning speed. All the things I say I am going to “get done while the kids are in school” just doesn’t happen like I plan on most days. It’s funny how much your day can get filled up with little things you don’t account for. But I love it. I feel blessed to be able to be home and still have what our family needs.
So today has been busy getting Shane off on a business trip to Birmingham. He will get home late tomorrow night though so not a terribly long trip…YAY. Then I went out to round up some Mother’s Day gifts that need to get in the mail if I want them delivered before Sunday. I think with Shane gone it’s going to be a Taco Bell night. The girls will be ecstatic. They like that I cook every night of the week now but Taco Bell will always be their fast-food fave! And no mess for me to clean up tonight. YAY!
The other thing I did get done today I am kinda torn about. I listed some of my favorite Americana & Raggedy Ann & Andy decorations on EBAY that I have had since Macey was a baby. I did her nursery in this theme and have been holding on to them cause they are just so stinkin’ cute!!!! I have a weakness in my heart for anything hand-crafted and Americana themed!!! I wasn’t going to say anything about it but I changed my mind. I know it sounds silly but I’d REALLY love to actually KNOW where these ADORABLE things end up. I hope they find a GREAT home. So click on the link below to check out the rest of the photos and see my auction. Oh…and prepare to fall in love. LOL Have a great night everyone. And tell me if you don’t think these things aren’t the cutest ever!!!

That’s a darling collection! I am sure it will find a great home where someone will just love it!
I can so relate to the day slipping by with the feeling that nothing has been accomplished. It’s crazy how doing a bunch of nothing adds up. *giggle*

Love Smallville! I bought Dustin the DVDs for Christmas. Costco had them for cheap. So was that what was in the UPS package? I’m confused.

How cute! Would love just the soft goods…will keep an eye on the auction. I know how hard it is to part with these sentimental items. My boys are 18 and almost 14 and I still have a couple small things when they were babies. Former SAHM…I *totally* understand how the day flies!! Hugs…
