Brother Love/Props & sharing some scrap!

Ryan Dude. I love you man.

This is my brother Ryan.

I am quite certain he’ll curse at me for posting this OLD and I mean OLD layout I did of him back in the day but this is pretty much all I had. He doesn’t take photos without being a goofball. Hence the title on this layout….. not much has changed. He’s my go-to computer geek… err… um…. I mean HERO when I need something fixed or have questions. He’s a genius (don’t tell him I said that!) and helps me out so much! I just got my computer off the FED EX truck yesterday afternoon and have him to thank for it! I am elated to be offically back online. No more trips to the library or borrowing laptops. LOL WOOT! WOOT!

Soooooo…. I’ve been busy. Lots goes on here during nappy time! I’ve got some fun scrappy things to share

14ThingsILoveLayoutLove Notes These two are up on the Bo Bunny blog this week. Julia challenged us to do a “14 Things we Love” layout so that’s the story behind that project. Click on the image to see the details in the circles. I love so many things so it was hard to narrow it down to 14. It was a fun assignment!

Then the Love notes book just got posted on the blog today and I am so excited to start using this. I created this album as a gift to my hubby & I for Valentine’s Day. We will leave it on our nightstand next to our bed or somewhere we will both see it. It’s going to be a place we can leave each other fun notes, Thank You’s and tell each other our feelings and how much we appreciate each other or something we did. After one of us has left some comments then we will leave the his or her tag to mark the page for a quick visual reminder that there’s a new message waiting. I actually made two of these and I plan on getting it up in my ETSY shop sometime this weekend. If you want it just shoot me an email and I won’t list it! The cool thing about this is you can make one to work for your whole family and leave it out where everyone can leave “love notes” in it for each other.

TheBondLayout This is a super special layout to me! This is my Grandma (Melba… first on the left) and each of her sisters who are alive & well! I took this photo a couple of years ago but am finally getting around to scrapping it. My Grandma is one of my HEROES in life. I have always looked up to her and have always wanted to be like her growing up. She always gives so freely of herself and has always been there for me when I’ve needed her….Always. The girls and I actually lived with her and my Grandpa for about 9 months while my divorce was getting finalized. I will never be able to repay her for everything she’s done for me over the years. We still talk several times a week and the girls & I miss her like crazy! It’s been hard that she doesn’t get to see Brody in person but thank goodness for email, phones, and blogs right? LOL Anyway, I love this photo of her with her sisters. They are all very close and I will treasure this!

DeskBefore1DeskAfterOkay! I picked up one of those white Making Memories desktop organizer things at Michael’s on clearance the other day. My scrappy table has been driving me nuts so it was time for a little re-organizing!! I did have this long rectangular basket on my table but it ended up being the catch-all and accumulated nothing but dust and junk. I ended up putting my big glass jar of stamps in place of the basket and moving things around a bit. I am happy with how it turned out. Here’s a little before and after action for ya! Funny how one little de-clutter job can put a smile on your face!

ummmmm… what else?

ThanksFor YourSweetness I got a couple of cards created this week for Valentine’s Day. I also created this sweet Thanks card that was inspired by this week’s sketch over at 2Sketches4You. I love their sketches! They instantly inspire me everytime! I think Valentine’s Day and Halloween are my two favorite card-making holidays! I have so much fun with the color schemes! Next week will be a busy week as the girls get ready for their school parties. My iced sugar cookies are always a big hit so they ask every holiday if we can make some. I will post the recipe and some photos for those! Okay… kiddos are still napping so I better grab a shower while I can! Hope everyone has a great weekend! We have soccer games starting at 830am! Woot! Woot! HappyValentinesDayCardYouMakeMyHeartSingCard

So, so, so glad you’ve got your new computer and it’s up and running. I find all this computer stuff to be horribly stressful. Fortunately, my brother is sorta a computer genius, too, and he helps me out whenever I need.

I love the love notes idea. Don’t think Brian would participate since it involves writing and feelings! I’m so glad your computer is back. As much as I hate computer stuff, I know I’d be lost without it.
