Can I pat myself on the back for this one? I mean without sounding like an arrogant snot??? LOL You know you’ve heard me say that there are only a handful of times when I’m done creating something that I absolutely LOVVVVE IT TO PIECES!!! Well… this is one of those times! There’s a “create-a-shaped-card” challenge going on over at the HERO Arts Blog so I was instantly inspired to make a VW Bug Birthday card and OF COURSE in celebration of the Green Giveaway… it had to be GREEN! This is going to be the ONLY thing going in the green box that will be SUPER hard to let go! LOL If I didn’t think I could make another one I’d be keeping it for myself! HA!!! It fits PERFECTLY into the 5 x 7 inch envelope it comes with.
Here’s another “Shaped” card I made for the challenge but I also made this for my Mom to celebrate her birthday which is coming up on the 16th! Shhhhhh! Don’t tell! She only checks my blog every few weeks so I am pretty safe posting it now. LOL I made a card similar to this one last summer that got picked up by Paper Crafts mag so you might be thinking you’ve seen it before. Not this one you haven’t …. Wink! The pattern for this cake is actually in my links along the side of my blog if you wanna try your hand at “baking” your own card up! HA HA! I am loopy on the cough syrup. forgive me! Oh and the stamps I used on BOTH of these cards is from the same Hero Arts set called Birthday Messages.

Can I say…that Bug Card is the cutest thing I have ever seen and, I am SO hoping I have a shot at the Green Think Challenge…because I want to scraplift that card and copy it!

Love the VW card. I have a “groovy” stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up) and the bella VW bus stamp but I don’t think I could use those to make anything half as cute as that card!!!
