Bailee’s Super Special Day

This past Saturday the 17th of December was a BIG DAY for my Bailee!!! It was her 8th birthday AND she was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am soooooo proud and happy and excited to be her Mommy! She is growing into a little lady. She was so cute when she came out of the baptismal font. She said, “Wow! That was fun! I wanna get dunked again!” It made me laugh! She always makes me smile. It’s funny though because her and I are so similar in personality that sometimes when we have our “bad” times they are REALLY bad. But Motherhood is sooooo interesting this way. I am grateful for the ablility the Lord has placed in my heart to be able to forget the bad times and focus on the good stuff!!! I think most Mom’s are blessed this way! Anyway….we had lots of friends and family come to Bailee’s baptism and then lunch at our house after. It was very special and I am grateful for the strong support system we are privileged to be apart of. Bailee’s Great-Grandpa Thatcher is the one who baptized her and this meant a lot because he was also the one who blessed her as a baby. He was pretty excited at the opportunity to do it! Thanks Grandpa! Here is just a sampling of some other photos taken on Bailee’s special day! I have been meaning to post these sooner but time has been scarce!
