That’s the way it almost is around here again. My Mom & Hillary flew home to AZ last night and Deanna’s family hit the road early this afternoon. This week went by entirely too quickly. We miss everyone already. I think we have my Mom & Hillary convinced they need to move here too! Well…. it didn’t take much to convince them…they fell in love with this place just like I did. Despite the humid weather this time of year Mom & Hillary were both loving it. Anyway… we had so much fun having our family here for Brody’s blessing which was beautiful. Shane gave Brody an amazing blessing. I promise to post more photos in the next few days of Brody in his little blessing outfit. He looked like a little pimp with his bow tie and vest. I promise to share the other photos from this weekend too.
Believe it or not… I actually scrapped last night with Deanna after all the kiddos were in bed. It was so fun. I can’t even remember the last time I scrapbooked with my sister. It’s been way too long. I did this layout for the first challenge over at Create My Keepsake’s design team contest. We had to scrap about a weakness we have. So this shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. LOL I also used mostly products from CMK’s monthly June kit. Good schtuff!!!
Okay…. and I forgot to share my card from the current sketch posted at Triple the Sketch! It’s a Father’s Day card I made for Shane from all our kiddos! Maybe this will inspire you to create a “guy” card for the special men in your life! It’s Father’s Day on Sunday! Where is this year going??? It’s almost half over already! That’s just insane!!! Shane rarely checks my blog so I can get away with posting this early! HA HA! Alrighty! I will go through all the photos from this past week and share them soon! I hope ya’ll are having a great week! LOVE the colors on your DP layout! Aren’t you glad that your weakness is Dr. Pepper, and not, say, cocaine or something?? (Like any scrapper would make a page like that . . . that isn’t a challenge, just an observation! LOL)

Yep…Once you go south (um, Mississippi and Kentucky, not what you dirty minded girls would think!!) you never go back.
I could never leave the green and the feel of living here again. Not poo pooing AZ girls, but when I can sit outside during the summer and enjoy prescott like weather, I think I’m stuck.
Ask me again when it starts to snow though. Haha!
