So I meant to get on here yesterday and post an update but everytime I tried there was something else trumping the blogging time. But that’s okay! Family first right? It’s 5am and I just put Brody back in bed! He slept from 830pm to 430am and that is HUGE!!! Normally he is up at 1am and 4am and then again at 6am. Everything went perfectly with his surgery yesterday. We were in and out of there pretty quickly and he slept quite a while the rest of the morning. When he got up he was my happy boy again! Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers! I am so relieved to have gotten this done for him. I am sure better days and nights are ahead for both of us!
Before I head back to bed as long as the house is sleeping I will share this card I made for this week’s “Spring” challenge going on over at the Hero Arts Blog. I’m sooooooo glad to have found that place because I’ve been dusting off my stamps and looking at them in a whole new light! I tried water coloring on this for the first time in a VERY long time and I love how it came out! I used my stamp from Hero Arts called “Flourish Tulip”. Only I created my own stems and leaves using patterned paper. I also created the background on the circle using the Celebrate stamp from the “Birthday Messages” set. Anyway, I have been blown away by all the talent over there in the Flickr group. I am constantly inspired so it’s a joy to visit that gallery everyday!
Okay…. better head back to bed while I still can! Have a great weekend everyone!
