This time the terrorists are here in the homeland. I have been debating most of the day whether I would even bother posting about this because it’s so deeply disturbing and horrifying on so many levels. What is this world coming to? If you have no idea what I am talking about….
I wanted to just let the day pass with no mention of it whatsoever but then I would be completely disregarding what this blog is supposed to be for…truly. It’s for my kids. And my children’s children. I can’t let them think that this tragedy didn’t affect me somehow. I wish it didn’t but that would be a lie. I have had a knot in my stomach and a hole in my heart today similar to the feelings I had on 9/11. Why are some people so past feeling that they could carry thru with something so inhumane and animalistic? It scares ne to death to know that things could be even worse by the time my girls are in college!
May those poor people rest in peace. May their family and friends somehow find peace in their hearts. It seems unimaginable to me. I thank God that I have my faith to get me through these types of things. To know that there is life after death and that if something did indeed happen to my children or a loved one that I would see them again someday. My heart is heavy.

i’m with you–it is so horrible and so unbelievable. my daughter’s in college! i can’t even begin to understand it and feel so badly for everyone affected.

It’s so hard to imagine senseless and disturbing No one deserved that. All we can do is hope they find better way to try to prevent it Pray for the families and hope it gets better ic ouldn’t imagine getting that phone call.

One of the most sad things about this — more fuel for the fire of those small-minded people who think that we need to keep all the foreigners out of our country.
Truly disturbing that violence was the only answer for that troubled man. And now so many others have to suffer, because of him.
