It’s been a very strange feeling to have the whole house to myself the last few days. I honestly don’t like it. There are moments when I find myself sighing and saying, “Wow…the quiet is kinda nice.” But I would never trade it for the commotion and chaos that comes with a house full of the people you love most in the world! I got a little scrapping in yesterday while Lisa was here. That was so nice to hang out with her. I don’t know if we did more shopping and eating than we did scrapping but I don’t care. I didn’t HAVE to do anything I didn’t want to do for once. We went to the Chandler Mall and I did some damage to the checking account in Motherhood Maternity while I was there. Sorry honey! 
We hit the Cheesecake Factory for lunch and Serrano’s Mexican food for dinner. Then some scrappy stores and I still managed to get some stuff done before hitting the hay last night. Here’s the layout and two cards I got done. The cards are based on the current sketch #36 over at SKETCH THIS: CARDS. Now I am off to my sista’s house to pick up season one and two of The Office. Since all my favorite shows are still not on due to the freaking writer’s strike I thought it was a good time to get started on The Office. I just don’t like starting in the middle of a season or coming in late to the game. I gotta know the history and all that’s happened along the way. Can’t help it. ANyway….I have several projects I am working on that I can do in front of the TV so off to borrow those from Hillary. I’m sure I will have some more to share again tomorrow!

As for New Years Eve, LOL, I don’t have any idea what we’re doing. I am much too old and in need of my sleep and health to go out partying till the wee hours of the morning, so maybe we’ll hang out at home and watch movies or play games or something, LOL!

Your cards are so cute. I am so jealous-you can just whip up things like that in your “spare” time. Plus coming from a mom with 3 kids and all of us have had stomach flu all weekend long; a nice, quiet house with time to watch something other than Noggin and play with your scrapbook stuff-wow, now I really am jealous!
