Here’s my card for this week’s #47 Sketch over at 2 Sketches 4 You. Fun bright colors and a fun little umbrella stamp I got to play with. Seems appropriate too since it’s been raining here all day. uggh… I used to LOVE the rain when I lived in AZ. Not so much here since it seems to never stop. HA!!!

Anyway…. I would have gotten outside this afternoon and taken pics of the March Kit Cards but the rain just hasn’t let up! I promise that RAIN OR SHINE I will post the peeks tomorrow! I also want to mention that I will have 10 EXTRA KITS this month. AND JUST FOR MARCH ONLY there will be 6 card kits for $13.00 instead of 5!!!!

I just hit the send button on an email containing my Design Team application for Lily Bee!!!

Yikes! It’s been a long while since I’ve even attempted this sorta thing. But now that I’m feeling like life is somewhat normal again and my sweet little Chloe sleeps through the night… I am giving it a shot!!! We had to submit 2 Layouts or altered projects. I did send in two layouts but here are several things I’ve created this week using some fun Lily Bee papers and rub-ons! Love their products! I think phone calls are going out on the 8th of March… so I should know by then if I will have some exciting news to share or not! Wish me some scrappy luck! ***OH!!! I also need to give some credit where credit is due! Renee is the talent behind the darling photos of Kacie and Karlie in the first layout. Thanks girl!

Holey Schmoley… it NEVER gets old! It’s actually an artistic dream come true for me and I hope that they won’t ever tire of my work so I can do it for many years to come!

I have been crazy busy this week with just “stuff”. You know all the “stuff” of life that consumes your time and when you look back at your week you have no idea what you accomplished? LOL Well…. it seems like that’s been my week. I did finally get everything unpacked and put away from the 3 day crop LAST weekend. I also got a couple of custom scrappy orders done and shipped out. Spring soccer is in full swing again with practices and games starting up. Weekly church activities, daily homework, chores and fitting in the gym where I can…. you know…. “STUFF!” LOL Hopefully the weather cooperates this weekend so the girls’ soccer games don’t get cancelled.

Anyhooo…. Just wanted to pop in and say hey and share this fun little handout I made today to go along with Lesson #9 in the Young Women’s Manual. I normally don’t share here what I add to my handout blog but this was just too cute not to share. It’s got one of my most favorite scriptures on it.

So Renee and I started a girls scrappy weekend Friday at 6 and scrapped our brains out until Sunday at 9pm. It was the most fun I’ve had in a LOOOOOONG time! I seriously needed a little retreat. It was a local one put on here in Madison but there must have been over 200 women there and it was sooooo much fun! I never came home except to sleep at night. Thanks to Shane who was sweet about taking care of the kiddos. My three stayed with Tom for the weekend. Anyway….. these fun ladies were our table neighbors and by the end of the weekend we were making plans to scrap again soon! So happy! So left to right is me (uuugh…. GROSS!), Angela, Renee, and Elizabeth.

I was able to get three layouts and four cards created over the weekend. You’d think it would have been a lot more than that but I am happy!!! It seems like I don’t scrap many layouts anymore so I’m excited to have finished THAT many! LOL! The Chloe “Beautiful Joy” layout took 1st Place in the layout contest! Woot! Woot! FUN!!!!! Look what we woke up to this morning! It started last night about 8pm and didn’t stop all night. The weatherman is saying it’s supposed to snow like this until Noon today. Somewhere around 5-6 inches!!! CRAZZZZZZY!!!! It’s pretty but I actually hate the white stuff. The girls got to stay home from school today so they get a 4-day weekend now. They are bouncing off the walls excited to go out and play in it. But of course I am using it to my advantage and no one is going out until rooms and chores are done! HA HA HA! I’ve never seen them this excited to clean the house! LOL!!! I will share some more photos later. Got some cute ones of Brody outside with Dad in it too. I’m such a desert rat. I’m ready for spring and summer but doesn’t look like that’s happening anytime soon!

I have been working on scrappy things this week but mostly card kits and some custom orders. This frame is one I made for a special order. Love the saying on it!! I put my older photo in it just for the picture’s sake. LOL I think I’ve gained like 20 pounds since I took that picture! Anyhoooo…. I hope everyone has a great weekend! I am praying the crop that Renee and I signed up for 6 months ago isn’t cancelled this weekend because of weather! I really need some GIRL time!! ♥TOODLES! ♥

…….The fun ones pass too quickly I say! Monday comes unfairly soon when your weekend is loaded with good stuff. Shane blessed our little Chloe girl at church yesterday. It was beautiful. And so is my little angel! Thanks again Mom for buying this amazing little dress she wore! So pretty. This sweet thing is such a happy baby and her smiles are so contagious. She is ALWAYS smiling…. seriously. I can’t tell you how hard it is to not just sit and hold and giggle and play with her all day! I have to force myself to get off the couch with her so I can get some things accomplished! I could talk to Chloe all day. ♥

So Shane’s 33rd birthday is coming on Wednesday but we surprised him this weekend with a party. It was small but intimate and fun! Apparently we didn’t hide our vehicles well enough though as he thought “What the heck?” when he saw them pulling into The Lamb’s neighborhood! Thanks Tom and Renee for hosting the surprise! Shane had a good time! Especially with UFC and Halo after! Hee Hee! There is proof he had fun in that smile hiding under his hat in this photo. Love it! ♥ Oh!!!!! And of course the other reason Shane and the rest of the people it seems like in this state are smiling today is that HUGE SUPERBOWL WIN for the Saints last night! I’m not a big fan but I’m sure they will grow on me. :o)
