I had soooooo much fun creating this Love Frame. I’m feeling the urge to keep this for myself instead of putting it in with the other giveaway goodies! But I won’t keep it! I can make another one if I reeeeally want to. I found the bare wood frame at Michael’s for like $2.50 with a coupon. I painted it white and sanded all the edges. Then I added some fun little Valentine’s love to each of the openings. I wish this photo was better. It actually looks a lot cuter in person. Oh well…. you get the picture. HA HA HA!!! You REALLY DO! LOL Anyhoooooo….. As I was messing around trying to think of some things to put in the frame I created another little Word Art. I didn’t end up using it on this project but am glad I made it so I can still share it. And I found this cute red cupid online somewhere for free only I spaced it and didn’t save the link. I hate that I did that. I always like to give credit where it’s due! I used this cute guy in my frame. ♥
Okay…… that’s it for today. For my card kit members…. Obviously I’m running a bit behind on my cards this month. Should have the peeks and PayPal requests out by tomorrow! Thanks for your patience!
Sorry I’m late getting today’s post up. We’ve got all 7 kiddos this weekend so…. family first.
Okay… I just KNOW I’m not the only scrapbooker who does this. Please tell me I’m not. I’ve been hanging on to these Teresa Collins FreeStyle papers since last CHA release! Waiting for the PERFECT photos to use them with. I’m sooooo glad I hung onto them. I love this layout of Shane and I. I had to giggle when I showed it to him. Of course his reaction was…. “Nice… it’s Pink.” LOL HA HA!! He’s a dude. I explained to him that it was a “Valentine’s” layout and to try and see past the colors to the message.
I also fell in love with this hot pink ruffly ribbon I found at Hobby Lobby!!! Was totally stoked to be able to use it on this layout too! A roll of that and a package of the Bo Bunny Chunky Chips is going in the goodie box. FUN!!!!
Until tomorrow! ♥
Are you having fun so far…. peeking in and seeing what I’ve been up to? When I was putting together today’s creation I had the little people in mind. You know how excited they get when they bring their sweet little Valentine’s home from school with them? They are so eager to show you what they got at their school party. Then the sad part… those sweet little Valentine’s get shoved back in the bag or box and ultimately end up in the trash can. That’s how it happens at our house anyway. How about a special place to keep them for the rest of the month?
This would be a fun project to create with your kiddos. I cut a big heart (about 11″ x 9″) out of a glittery foam sheet from Hobby Lobby. Then I punched LOTS of red circles out to glue around the back of the heart in order to create a SCALLOPED border. Next I hand-stitched a little border around it with white embroidery floss and then glued the whole thing on some foam board but poster board would work too. You’ll need this for support. Last I added the tulle hanger and the string to hang the Valentine’s on. This is going in the goodie box along with some more little clothespins to hang up lots more Valentines. Have fun!
Day 3 already! Where is this week going? I’ve been excited to share this card with you because of the stamp I used on it. It’s a new release cling from Hero Arts and there’s so many different things that can be done with it. I won one recently playing in a Hero Arts blog challenge but I already had it! Hee hee!!!! So I’m excited to say that this card and this brand new, never been opened cling stamp is going in the goodie basket. But whoever wins it has to promise to share with me what you create with it! ♥
I also want to share the Word Art I created to go on this card. I couldn’t find the perfect saying or stamp, or rub-on to use so I had to make my own. Feel free to save it and use it on a card for one of your besties!!!
Okay…. It’s 1am on Thursday morning. I couldn’t sleep so I decided to blog. LOL I think I can try again now! HA! Hope you’re enjoying everything so far!♥
Today’s creative sweetness is what’s going in the giveaway! I altered this 4″ x 8″ journal to make a place to keep quotes that touch your heart. I love the little book I have that I add quotes to all the time. If you win the BIG box of goodies on the 14th and you want to use this in a different way then you can just take the giant heart tag off of it. I am in love with THIS paper that I used to cover this journal. I need to stock up on some more so I can hoard it and make sure I will always have some. I just love the little patchork design mixed with the little prints. It’s shabby charming!!! And the stamp I used on it is one of my very favorite Hero Arts stamps right now. You can find that HERE. I’m loving tulle these days. So don’t be surprised if you see tulle on a lot of my projects. HA!
Okay….. that’s it for Day 2! I will leave you with some word art I created using one of my favorite quotes. I’ve been having a lot of fun lately just playing with text over at Picnik.
Have a great day! Spread the love! ♥

Here's my little contribution to the blog hop....
As I was flipping through the pages of my February Scrapbooks Etc. Magazine... I was inspired by many layouts. It got me thinking about a few questions I get a lot from people. Do I scraplift at all? Do I use sketches as a jumping off point when I create? And to these I say YES!!!! As a general creative rule for me personally, I certainly want to sit down and just start creating a layout that I've dreamed up from scratch in my head. But..... if I sit at the table any longer than 10-15mins wondering where to start then it's definately time to reach for a magazine or a sketch for inspiration.
The layout in the mag above inspired this layout I created of my little Chloe. (be sure to click on the images to see them bigger) It's not an EXACT scraplift but it's pretty close. The design is pretty much the same. The elements are different but placed in similar areas. I want to apologize for the blurriness of this photo but I don't really NEED to. HA HA!!! We all have imperfect photos in our stash right? And it's a photo of my baby girl that I want to remember. But as you can see.... I was even inspired by the title on the layout as well and used it on my page too! This layout didn't take much time to create at all when the design work was already there for me. Give scraplifting or sketches a try! They're a lot of fun! Oh! And I used Bo Bunny's Crazy Love line on this layout! Fun! ♥
**EDITED TO ADD** Holey Schmoley!!!!! CHECK THIS OUT!!!! I’m sooooo excited!!!!!
